If someone is deemed guilty of war crimes whilst working for the IDF or the Iranian military, it's a different story. But it won't and shouldn't be the whole of their military employees - regardless of whether the military apps atud oversteps Australia's lines.

i disagree with some of your basics.

I did think of this, the way that Dutton had compared people protesting for Palestine to the Port Arthur massacre.

What would the halfwit like to say about it now?

David Cameron was asked if Britain would respond if its territory in another country was attacked.

His gymnastics in trying to answer why Iran shouldn't have a similar right to respond evoked some genuine laughter from me.

wow, quality people, I guess you can only judge the character of people by their outcomes - bloody appalling

Israel stopped seeing Palestinians as people a long while ago. It now seems so obvious.

How else can you explain their determination to destroy Palestinian children?

I cant explain and I cant explain how anyone would essentially torture a population for what in a relative sense, a small group of, call them for what they are, terrorists did. It wasn't the innocent mum, dad or child (i.e the majority of Palestinians) - but they are the ones being essentially murdered.

I should be old and wise enough to understand, but I can not understand how the world can let this happen and let it continue to happen

This is a good article of intolerance in the conflict.

A good read to perhaps reflect on our behaviour all of us!
Lol, Chip ****ing Le Grand. The agenda is clear after the second paragraph:

As the Jewish business manager explains, he supports a free Palestine, especially one free from the tyranny of Hamas.
I wonder who Palestinians would prioritise being free from?

To make it absolutely clear, there are many ideologies & politics we should not be tolerant of. Particularly those that justify genocide.

The author of the article is a horrible journalist. Just bad at his job. He was the reason I quit my subscription to The Age a few years ago (but have gone back since).

But if Chip prompts you to reflect on your behaviour, if he can stop you from employing the massacre of Sydney shoppers for your own nefarious purposes, then I congratulate you both.

You can be a better man.

You only read things that will suit your agenda push your narrative. I post articles that are legitimate and contrary and you crack it and attack the poster. Smearing a poster you don't like is your way of pushing your own narratvie/agenda. You're ruthless.

I wish you well in your journey towards enlightenment.

Can you clarify what agenda you believe is present in the second paragraph please?

That Palestinians are less free because of Hamas, rather than the colonial neighbour that actively subjugates them.
Wouldn't that be just pushing another agenda then? Your agenda?
In the spirit of the article which you want to dismiss, perhaps you could better fault it by stating the author for the sake of fairness, that the person who took objection to painting over kidnapped children should have stated that he wants palestinians free from.the tyranny of hamas and the subjugation of Israel under Netanyahu? Would you like that? Will you take it as your mission to instill fairness with every article you read on this subject? Even when it's obviously been framed n a way that is comforting to your agenda?

The article was actually about terrorism and the challenges ASIO face.

Whatever meaning you meant to convey has been rather lost on me with that unfiltered stream of consciousness.

I read the article, and found it resoundingly shallow. As all of his writing is

I don't normally read links or watch videos without knowing what I am about to look at but I did just read the AGE article and to me it was more about the painting and stabbing of the Church leader (who incidentally was ex communicated as a Bishop in 2014 for having extreme theological differences with the church).

It didn't seem to be an objective article and was just pushing his own biases.

His final paragraph:

It is harder to know what prompts someone, armed with a paint brush and a tin in the middle of the night, to black out the image of a child held captive in an age-old conflict. This is the war we are losing: the war within.

It really isn't that hard, the article is a good example of why.

I have to agree with that. If you gave a palestinian a choice, I think they would prefer to be free of the people keeping them locked up in gaza and starving them and bombing them. Am I ideological to think that?
