I don't think you should do that after the fact - only would have put in Boldin over a bye player IF there was any space available for him, which there wasn't.

Changed back. Problem being, the OP slots are locked, with just Gabbert yet to play. So nowhere for Boldin to be placed, unless I move some existing starters around, and put McCoy on the bench. Which I dont think we should do.

As for draft suggestion...

Last week Mord beat me well with like 4 bye players lol.
This week he might well win with like 4+ bye players. But if he doesn't i'll treat it as a win or tie come draft placings.

Mordikai trying his darndest to Suck for Luck, but he's been unlucky, his players are unhappy to lose.

I dont know if we should be moving players around now on his team? Or adjusting draft spots etc? I am happy to go along with what people think, but seems like an odd thing to be doing? It is sad that he has not been active, but what can we really do unless every week the league GM goes through every team and makes sure?

I'm with Manureid on the first part.

Should just leave the team how he left it, and it's up to him to come online and move Boldin in and Vick out. It's Mord's and Dspeed's fault for not informing if Mord is away and needs someone to manage his roster while away, so we could've done it before the games begin at least.

As for draft picks...just have to do that in case someone tanks on purpose or by accident and improves their draft spot.

Not like really. But you know him or are in more contact with him outside of BF, im gathering. I mean, if he told you he was going away or was gonna be out of action for a while (busy etc), and you knew but didnt say. But if it's a mystery to you like it is to the rest of us, then yeah, not your fault obviously.

Anyway, the WC race heating up again.

Important round of games in Alpha this week.

If Drd can beat Dagless, and if GG can beat Manureid, even if Dspeed wins or loses, GG should be in the WC lead (beat both Dagless and Dspeed h2h).

If Dagless wins and NDG wins, then the race for the Eastern division title really hots up. Cassius could be 7-1, Dagless 6-2, and if GG wins 5-3, at the halfway point of the season.

While in the Central division, if Drd loses, Dspeed wins, and Mordikai wins, the division title likewise tightens up. Would have Drd and Dspeed both on 5-3 and Mordikai on 4-4. Drd's got the toughest match-up, but Mordikai has to be careful because tho TGBB is on 2-5, he always has the ammo to put up a big score, and is always competitive in his games.

If certain results happen, there can be 3 teams on 5-3 all vying for a WC (pts for) and Mordikai 4-4 a game back in shot, and a chance the following week then of having 4 or 5 teams on 5-4/6-3. Remembering that one of Drd, Dspeed and Mordikai would win the division, leaving the others to battle for the WC. GG would not want this, his best shot is being in a tie with Dspeed and/or Dagless (forcing h2h).

In the Western division, NDG is so far ahead he can afford to drop a game or two or three and still stay in control of the division title.

Chances are Cass drops a few sooner rather than later.

You have to beat me a second time GG, which likely won't happen, so need every win you can get. Not that you can expect 60 from Foster every week

Before I worry about beating you a second time, I have to worry about keeping pace with your W-L record. I know all this. But the stage is being set for an interesting finishing stretch starting with this week's "playoff picture" match-ups.

Last year I started 1-2, beating Wizard, then ripped off a 13 game winning streak.
This year I started 1-2, beating Wizard, now have ripped off a 5 game winning streak.

Gave the high flying Baggers a small scare....certainly a game where I missed having Charles in the lineup.
