Collingwood already has a great set of jumpers - home, clash, and Kangaroos clash. The only thing I'd really want to update is the clash socks.

Possibly the best option for a preseason jumper featuring the mascot is the 2001-4 preseason jumper, which maintains the historic black and white stripes.

The preseason clash moves the stripes above the swooping magpie, almost forming a V not unlike the infamous 1982 Escort Cup jumper.

I agree that the clash should be mostly white. But I think Collingwood should try to make it more interesting that just the plain black-on-white. Maybe like this...

Here's my take on what should happen:

All victorian teams should revert to their 1983 gurnseys for both home and away. The clash was never a problem then.

All interstate or new franchise teams should have to design jumpers that don't clash with any of the existing Victorian ones.

Victorian teams should not be forced to change their gurnseys, and should be encouraged not to.

I don't think so because I think the new jumpers need to look more modernized instead of the retro-style 80's look

Sydney Swans

Sydney already have a great logo and home and clash jumpers. Ideally, I'd like to see the home jumper predominantly red but I can't think of a workable solution.

This unnecessary alternate jumper is based on the original Swans' jumper (and also the QBE promotional jumper), but features the Opera House logo.

This preseason jumper is predominantly red, featuring a single horizontal stripe and the logo.

This preseason clash jumper is in the style of the seemingly popular "bird's head" designs.

The swans one needs a third colour, like for the sponsor logos

I like the swan head idea, It's simpler than the likes of Adelaide, Hawthorn and West Coast.
