Yeah I thought of the 2014 several times during the game, the parallels, and was not that surprised the margin was also 3, but this time in Port's favour. I wonder if it was also in the back of Kenny's and maybe Boaky's mind.

There have only been two 100+ point QF wins (2000 and 2007) and both were against North Melbourne, who on both occasions then went on to beat Hawthorn in the SF.

I’m fairly sure the next biggest QF losing margin would be Port in 2024 with 84 points. Making Hawthorn the losing SF team against all of the three most heavily defeated QF teams.

How GWS blew two easy finals is beyond me. They were in a position to host a home prelim at ENGIE 2 weeks ago.

And last year they were up midway through the 3rd vs Collingwood in the prelim and lost by one
