So much Essendon hate.

I love it :thumbsu:

I've got a strong feeling both our clubs are going to be fighting for a premiership within the next 3-5 years. Still both ave young lists and the signs are good. Be nice to give it to all these cocky supporters who are up now but won't get close in the years ahead... ;)

LULZ. 3-5 years will be GC v GWS. Meanwhile Carlolton will still be throwing $ at Judd and The Scum will be waiting for Jimmy the knife to do something more than Knights could.

Would people please please stop using injuries as a excuse for underperformance. Its a contact sport. Injuries happen.

Carlton like everyone else are where they are because they are where they are. They are outsiders in the betting market at home to the team in 12th today. That is where you are.
Lets just see what happens tonight shall we- we have nothing to lose with half of our twenty two out there, you have everything to lose

they are like that price is right game where the man and his dog climbs the mountain, they have just fallen of the mountain...and isnt it great to watch? Wont make 8, if they do will get beat like they did first week last year. And this year will be for no improvement. SPECIAL

This I'll never understand. Injuries can devastate a team. If your best is out with injuries what are you to do?

Some teams just have poorer list management when it comes to conditioning and fitness coaches.
Bullshit. Was Strattons leg injury due to poor list management?
Which one of Bailey's knee's was due to poor list management?
Was Rougheads Archillles injury due to poor list management?

Jake Batchelor, Ben Griffiths, Jake King, Gibson Turner, Matt Arnot, Dylan Grimes, Nathan Foley and Ty Vickery are all out injured. Which of these is due to poor list management?

Good question, but I am simply pointing out that poor conditioning can lead to increased chance of injury. I thought that was pretty clear in all sports.

I think we can rule out poor conditioning for any AFL team. The playing and training surface condition is probably more important. The aspects are many. You can hardly count out injury to your best players, of course it;s going to have an effect. Hawthorn I'm sure wouldn't have smashed Essendon by so much if the team wasn't so decimated by injury.

Has a team ever missed the finals after starting the season 8-1?

Why does this thread exist twice? How desperate for affirmation are you? :thumbsu:

Because the second one was made after the first got moved to the bay after essendon trolls ruined it. Then they ruined the second one which was serious discussion of essendon's struggling form.
