Supporters paying $1500 for the back row seat at the Grand Final is not good for the game

Don't want to see the entire Lower Section at the tennis made into a corporate allocation either

im perfectly able to search, an AFL Grand Final PACKAGE starts at 1495... a ticket is less... dont be condescending, you are whinging about something thats not needed
 
He overstayed his welcome for at least 5 years now. Turned the AFL into a political organization rather than a sporting league.

Current youth isn't as bad as many think. In the next 5-10 years we will have a few more top 20 players.
 
Just before the 2011 draft this kid was given a medical by an AFL doctor.

Test results including figures and comments were sent to recruiters. The tests never took place and witnesses were in the room.

The guy you are talking to is his dad. Forget about replying to him, if you check his posting history you will see that he goes into random threads and brings up the issue as he thinks his son has been cheated.

He is just bitter.

June 2011, before the NSW/ACT Vs Melbourne Metro Under 18 game in Melbourne.

An AFL doctor and not the usual RAMS doctor performed a medical that was the medical used for the purpose of being sent to AFL recruiters.

The doctor recorded numerical results of a dynamometer test and pain recordings in front of two witnesses. This did not happen. The player was said to have had osteitis pubis by this doctor and , which he didn't have and never has had.HE had absolutely no pain.

He went straight to another AFL doctor, who is highly regarded, who said as he did the previous exam, no, you don't have it. This report was never sent to recruiters.

You think you would know if you had OP, wouldn't you? Maybe a twinge, a hint of discomfort, something???

When will this doctor be investigated and the witnesses interviewed?

Roby, Can you please explain why it is bitter to question why an AFL doctor would fabricate a medical report and distribute it to all the recruiters?

You can understand the extreme concern from a parent when it came after the boy said no to an expansion team as a 16 year old...for good reason.
 
I'll back this, overheard 2 people talking tennis and the problems in Tennis Australia about a month ago. One of them said something along the lines of "has demetriou said yes?" then couldn't hear what they said.

So Demetriou is going for the Tennis Australia job and not the ATP? A few months ago Sheahan asked him if he'd been approached by the ATP, he ummped and arghhed his way through without giving a real answer.
