A - Doesn't happen - Maher - "The deal didn't go through, I won't mention the deal out of respect for the player and club".

Seeing there's actually no real trades going on (other than the Birss blockbuster) speculate and rumourise is about all we can do really. The journo's are probably thinking the same thing - hence Maher's statement.

Sure ..its an awesome thought having both of them...but its the same deal with Pavlich going "home" to SA...there will always be a measure of specualtion on big name players from interstate.

I have heard talk on a few forums of Nick Stevens and Bret Thornton to the bombers for pick 2 but i doubt that this would happen.
