Perhaps I didn’t make myself clear. I was half asleep when I wrote that. My point is that people, as they make their way through life, will inevitably make choices that contradict their innate values. Everyone fuc*s up sometimes. Someone may be opposed to infidelity, yet at a certain point they might actually find themselves committing it anyway. Work stress, financial pressure, marriage problems, or any one of a hundred other reasons may factor into why it might happen.

You would hope that they would make amends for their mistake and grow, yet this is not always the case.

Yes, it happens all over the world. Does it make it ok? No. However I personally am not going to judge someone for doing something like that, as I know that life is complicated.

Cheating on your spouse and mother/father of your children isn't a small mistake.

You need to ensure you're alone with another person, aroused enough to go through with the action and have likely put in ground work beforehand. You have multiple opportunities to realise you're making a massive error.
