Hey guys!

Has anyone heard anything relating to the above injuries and their availability for the Sydney game?

Do you think its better to rest these players this week as a precausion with the travel and have them back the following week which is btw against WC at Etihad... (why at etihad???)

Can we beat Sydney without these players?

Haven't heard about Maxwell but I'd be shocked if he played. Looked at least a 2 week injury to me, possibly 4.

Johnno has some repercussion from his broken leg last year and we may take a conservative approach and he misses this week.

I'm expecting Bally & Didak to play.

Maxwell won't play, his calf injury is a 2-3 week injury, and he may not even be back for the WCE match.

Johnson, Ball and Didak will play, Didak of all 3 is the biggest concern, with rumours about hip problems (hip flexor?) doing the rounds.

If Ball, Johnson and Didak join Dawes in the side this week, we will win, even with our captain.

Good news I suppose. Johnson and Maxwell out last week really hurt our run from half back, though Reid stood up well. I think we need one of those 2 fit at least against Syndey.

That's Good for N Brown he will beck sooner then later

If only half come up this week and we get the rest back next week, we are looking remarkably healthy for the run to finals.
Probably in better nick than any other side injury wise.

Didak, Ball and Johnson all considered "certain starters" next week, with Maxwell likely to miss.

Although last week I quoted a newspaper article that had ruled out Nathan Jones and that turned out to be false.

Yes, but this seems about right. i.e. from memory, all finished off the Doggies game with no major signs of distress - hence, probably nothing too seriously wrong with them.

This, of course, raises the question: were they deliberately rested last week when available to play? If so, a serious miscalculation I'd suggest.

It wasn't really a miscalculation, the 22 players we put out last week still should have beaten Melbourne comfortably.

And with the extra weeks break, it was the perfect time to give some of our older players a rest.

sure it didn't read:

Sean Rusling (calf) 1 week?
