Anyone else really like crowdless footy?

There's a purity to it. Until of course the deadshit networks add fake noise and cover up the empty seats.

It reminds me of park footy, where the game itself is once again the star of the show.

One off game is ok, but very quickly every game just feels the same. Even having a few thousand at the game makes a difference.

The very reason games between clubs like Collingwood, Richmond, West Coast and the like is the roar of the crowd.

No crowd = no atmosphere.

Can you imagine a GF or ANY finals without a crowd!!

Your just watching the players - their swings - their technique - their shots - so the crowd is irrelevant

Actually at the US Masters last year - because there were no spectators - you could actually see the full geographical layout of the course - some of the vision was nearly once in a lifetime - you could see the drop off say at the back of a green - which youd never seen before because there were spectators their . It was actually just pure golf

I don't barrack for a specific club as such. I usually follow 2 or 3 each year more than the others.

The only good thing about crowdless footy is that the umpiring is better as they aren't influenced by the crowds, the lack of atmosphere sucks though.

I loved it before they added the crowd noise. I thought it was really great to hear the noise of the trains in the background, hear the players yelling and all that. Loved it.

I prefer crowds, but it's a nice novelty to watch without them.
