who are the teams thay will be up at the top of the table this year
and who are the players to try and stop?
any teams got some new recruits/scholarships?
any players lookin at playing first XVIII

For MGS the players to stop are Jackson Paine (Vic Metro and Sandy), Will Leveni (Vic Metro and Sandy), Will Heffernan (Sandy) and Fletcher Roberts (Sandy)
We have a few new scholarships: Fletcher Roberts is a massive ruckmen and we have some aboriginal guys as well. Some of our Aths scholarships are apperently good and footy as well.
Jackson Paine will probably play firsts this year though
So that is MGS this year

paine won't play every game. to be honest i'm not sure if he'll play at all. just can't see where he's gonna play

skevs have 4 state players in fricot, purell, wheeler and salopek. Thought purcell is likely to goto 1sts

highly, highly doubt purcell will play 1s. in others years he may have, but with the team they have this yr i doubt it.

golds (XAV), keith(XAV), oberne(SC), paine(MGS), shaw(CAREY) (underated), dont know geelong names but maybe one of their midfielders, gotch (CAUL) harris (CAREY new this year) leveni (MGS)

Actually, you did forget the two best players, Seb Purcell and Hal Hunter.

Seb purcell is pretty damn good and mgs have a new kid Fletcher Roberts who looks the goods. about 2 inches taller then paine!!

I also reckon that hailbury have u couple of good players and the geelong college twins are very good players

this is true, the school took him away from hockey and the hockey people are going nuts, his dad is also one of the 1sts coaches. He will play atleast 3 games this year in the firsts. Otherwise they wouldn't of moved him to footy.

Carey wont be too crash hot. they'll lose all their scholarships to the firsts and also lost their best player T.Mitchell who left to Perth because of his Dad and his coaching duties at Fremantle as assistant coach.

Too true carey have sum bigg losses this year and in response have many new recruits looking for 1st 18 spots.. including Harris , ceppi... Shaw = gun and will play 1sts

all have potential to play 1sts this year and all 3 are in the oakleigh chargers U16 squad

i do enjoy how geelong college hasnt really cracked much of a mention seeing as we have the last few years and we are a small school with no scholarships
we will lose some of our guns to the firsts though such as
Callen Wade - Falcons
Cameron Williams - Falcons
George Curnow - Falcons
and Rowan Pickett - Falcons
college will still dominate though
