Are Essendon & Carlton still relevant?

Typing about this in an earlier thread led me to a realization these 2 old clubs that were great about 2 decades ago have both now become totally irrelevant Western Bulldogs & St. Kilda have overtaken them and are now the stronger more widely recognized clubs.

It seems Essenscum and ******** are in real trouble and should strongly consider a three way (tee-hee) merge with Norf.

Shitmond are a joke but relevant because everyone laughs at how shit they have been for the past 30 years and Melgorne aren't quite gorne yet eradicating their debt (though they did draft Jaqueline Watts).

Lol at a Bulldogs supporter starting a thread like this. Bulldogs are the biggest pretenders in the AFL by far.

Your club is lucky to be around and will be extinct in 10 years and a distant memory yet you are asking if the 2 most succesfull clubs the league has are irrelevant, it just does not make sense but then again i am not totally surprised given your supported club and i can imagine how you think losing Pre Lims every year is being relevant in todays game.... so go rattle some tins and start a "Support The Bulldogs" money drive before it is to late.

Yeah becuase the Bulldogs have done so well in their whole 2 grand Finals in their total existence.

The Dogs will NEVER fold they have been labeled as the 3rd most important team in the AFL (behind GC & GWS) because of the rapid growth out in the Western suburbs of Melbourne I'm telling you we will end up being only behind Collyflog in terms of bigness/relevancy in Victoria.
