It looks like we will finish on top of ladder with Port second Brisbane third and Melbourne 4th.

It feels like (even though a great team) whoever plays Brisbane due to travel reasons has a better advantage.

If we play Melbourne there is zero home ground advantage.

You are basically saying you'd like to LOSE 3 probably 4 of our last 5 games. That will give you much worse sleep at night than playing Melbourne, trust me. Don't accept mediocrity. I know it's hard as a Collingwood fan as it's so ingrained into us.

Surely you’d prefer the home state advantage in the PF followed by a possibility of the same again in the GF. Finishing as minor premier opens that opportunity.

If we lost a qualifying final against them we have a 2nd chance at least at that point.

You would think so. You'd surely manage players and even sub consciously it would be tough to get up for. Think it's close to certain we'll play the Dees. That's fine.
