Anyone that knows k_m knows this thread was inevitable.

Funny thing though, this time he could end up being right...

Oh yeah. Sure. I also voted for five premierships.

In all seriousness, Carlton were going to win the premiership until this thread was started.

8 wins in a row including multiple flavour of the month premirship favourites.

The age profile of Carlton's list is primed for premiership contention for the rest of this decade.

Elite key pillars on every line are signed up long-term. A midfield that matches any in the competition. The best key forward duo since Franklin & Roughead.

Significant list depth on display with repeat wins while missing 6 of the starting 18. Two coleman medallists. A brownlow medallist.

Not only is the premiership window open - the dynasty window is open.
All we need now is … that bloke from saint kildya … what’s his name ?

No, dynasties are hard. When a team looks set to just make finals for the first time in a decade and hasn't won a flag in 28 years, a little more humility is required.

Cringe factor high in this thread.

This isn't some Mickey mouse dynasty like Geelong 2007 who suffered a late season loss to a contender (Port) in Geelong.

Carlton have beaten everyone and should be under $2 for the flag after this weekend

Blues have lots of Richmond '17 in them. Missed finals previous year, backed coach, coach under the pump, started season in the top 4, make the finals.
Good observation.
The other thing is fitness, they are running over oppo in qtr4, just like Tigers in 17. Oppo just can't make it to the end.

What was that ol' yarn about chooks and hatching?

You'll end up with sticky stuff on your leg

To the non-believers.. this side is currently missing

Adam Cerra
Sam Walsh
Harry McKay
Mitch McGovern
Jack Silvagni
Zac Williams
Matthew Kennedy

If your not convinced yet you will be soon enough.

No we are not, we haven't done anything, what a stupid thread. But to win games with all these players missing against teams in the top 3 is very good.

Missing for us Sam Walsh, Harry McKay, Adam Cerra, Mitch McGovern, Matt Kennedy and Jack Silvagni, that is a fair group of missing players.
