Hawthorn supporters were more annoying last year, and believe it or not are more annoying this year with their jealousy of the Cats.

I think that had something to do with the fact that no-one gave us any chance at all to win, which made the win seem all that sweeter.

This year its because the Cats have just done what we did last year and very few people seem to see the similarities. Despite attempting to denigrate our win all year.

No don't mind the Cats supporters, it's the piss & poo's who have to be the greatest idiots known to man and animals.

Didn't even need to click on this thread to know it was started by a Hawks flog. Lol that even Jack Watts is ahead ahead of 'yes'.

Hawthorn were easily the most obnoxious posters after winning a flag. The fact that they have continued on with their floggery in a season where their team were contemptible just makes it all the worse.

For mine the term 'deserve' indicates an element of presumption. As in winning the premiership is 'getting what they deserve'. It irked me when I heard Scarlett going on about it, as it struck me that there's an expectation that they deserve more than one flag because of "how great the team is". But that's the thing, no team deserves to win a premiership any more than any other team, so its a crap thing to say because of that. You get what you get because you worked bloody hard for it and fought harder for it on the day. Nothing more.

And, there's plenty of people who would disagree with you about the Hawks deserving theirs last year. eg: All the 'Bradbury' references. I disagree, obviously, but I don't think it needs to be said that any team 'deserves' a premiership.

What they mean is that if you've earned a Premiership, you deserve that Premiership, so in order to deserve a Premiership, you must earn it. That's actually a true statement.
Can you understand that at all?

Still haven't reached the Hawks levels of annoyance post September 2008.

Though it is interesting to see all these Geelong users posting again after going missing early October 2008.

You can't be serious.
This thread was started by a Hawthorn supporter. One of the 80000 Hawthorn supporters it seems, that joined bigfooty right after their 2008 premiership win, then blabbered on about how the dynasty had begun, to only stop talking when you came to the massive realisation the premiership can't be won from 9th place on the ladder.

What I hear from geelong supporters is not 1/8 as bad as how much you lot carried on.

Carlton are also just as bad. Problem is theyve got nothing to talk about except 'their massive future that lies ahead.' Let me tell you that future is gunna lack someone to kick the goals, now that the spearhead up forward has gone.

Love what youve done with the forward line structure. Its gone form being one-dimensional to no-dimensional.

I'll have to take your word on that, as I only discovered this board earlier this year.

That's a rather suggestive and dare I say potentially inflammatory remark. :D

Getting sick of a Cats fan boasting about the Cats is akin getting sick of a kitten fighting a ball of string.

You just can't stay mad at'em...:D

And the Yes! answer just keeps on getting more votes.

Or will the Geelong flogs keep on registering multiple accounts to keep the No vote in front? Wouldn't really surprise me.

Be sure to let us know when the YES vote overtakes Jack Watts won't you.

I voted NO, but considered Jack Watts.

Not that we care, we're winners and Hawthorn are now officially just a blimp on the radar - a Bradbury really, gone and forgotten accept on B13.

And apart from a few, I can't remember seeing any GF pics like the Hawthorn posters last year, they were everywhere. Their yellow streak and shite stained jumpers are gone and forgotten.

Sorry, We're too busy watching the 2009 afl grand final dvd over and over again.
