Go for it, I don't see why people wouldn't sign it - surely logic must prevail in this situation. Hopefully VS will realise that if they want their competitions to have any credibility whatsoever that they must amend the rounds results, reverse any trades that have been completed this week and alter their prices.
As Ive said earlier, I had Rocca get a 0 and he dropped in price (3-4 years ago). So it hasnt always been like this.
I'd put my name on it. I'd think we'd be able to get them to change it for the future but i'd be surprised if we were able to get Hille and Harvey changed seeing as the though lockout is over.
Clearly its unfair but there is no point carrying on about it. I was one of the people who had Harvey in my side and had no Emergency so i cant see what u are all carrying on about. sure i saved 25k but i lose a trade as well.

I wouldn't waste your time. Seen many user made internet petitions in my time and none have ever made any impact on any decisions.
Round 6 is now live, some people will have traded others will have not. It would take far too much time and effort for them to "undo" things.
I'm doing a games design course at uni and you should know that the decisions about games are hardly ever made to suit the hardcore players. They're going to look after the masses and the masses are the casual players who are ranked outside the 30,000 mark (or there abouts).
They know the hardcore crowd is going to keep playing pretty much no matter what they do so they're going to keep the interests of the casual players in my mind. And that's not to make last minute "after the siren" changes to the way the game works and the scores and prices of teams and players.
If you're going to petition them then I reckon the best result you could hope for is an amendment to the rules/scoring system for next year's comp. No doubt they're already well aware of the shit storm around this issue by now though.
But did he register a stat. It's always been if NO stats then it's a 0 but not counted.

What are u going to do trade now or wait till friday? i have a bad feeling they are going to ammend the prices however with that said if they ammended the prices surely they would have to fix the Emergency scores and take them out and then the ranks etc which would cause chaos.
I'm now confident they won't.
However, I'm thinking trading Harvey to Pavlich is not gonna hurt you, I mean what could possibly happen.
Hille on the other hand hmmmm, but yeh you should be safe to trade to someone.
Not sure if its been mentioned but prices dropped in SC?

You may as well wait until Friday AJSGUNS as if you trade today and they decide to change the values of Hille and Harvey, along with reworking the scores for all the teams that had an emergency come in (IMO the chances of this happening are about 0.005%), then they will also have to reverse all trades made for Hille and Harvey at their higher prices.
So you may as well wait!!
I've thought about it, and I don't see why it would be too hard to fix. Instead of changing everything, couldn't they just:
Fix the issue in the code/program
Reload this round's scores
But I don't think that this would fix the trades issue

In fact, I'd argue that the logistics and consequences of VS re-locking out everyone mid-week and resetting the teams could end up being more disastrous than Hilleandharveygate, especially if people aren't informed.
Imagine if you are one of the unwashed masses who trade out Hille and/or Harvey at the start of the week, and then the team you think you've entered is reset before lockout, and you field 1/2 donuts as a result. That will get a lot more people p*ssed off than this has.

As long as its consistant across the comp i dont see what everyone is so annoyed about. Emergencies come in when your player on the ground scores a 0. If you score a 0 its as if you didnt play, its always been like that.
As soon as Hille went down i got a message of my mate, wtf Fraser beat Hille in the first ruck how annoying!! Ie Hilles score was 0 and not 1.
I dont have either in my team....
But geez you can tell some people dont have them and want to gain an advantage for it Advantage = +2 Trades.

I have emailed VS many times and have never once gotten a reply.
This leads me to thinking that the petition will be a waste of time.
I think were all pissed at this, but at the end of the day, theres more important things to focus on atm.

Same with me, except when I did, they just replied by cutting and pasting the same rule I was asking a question about.
But it was within 24 hours, I suppose.

This is quite unfair really. I've had to deal with Ottens and Koschitzke injuring themselves moments into Q1. If they hadn't touched the ball I'd be about 130 points better off with emergencies coming in for each game. Pretty poor form really. I'm not in contention, but imagine if you finished 2nd overall and your opponent had Hille or Harvey back in R5. The cash difference and points difference would be enough to make a large difference in rankings.
