He’ll become the ATP’s equivalent of Arantxa Rus if he’s not careful. Does enough at challenger level to keep the ranking high enough for slams (and with expanded draws, probably masters too), but doesn’t really do much on the main tour. Who could be critical though, you do what you gotta do!
Well Purcell is taking his singles more serious as he has dropped playing doubles for now
Full credit to him. Chris OConnell did the same more or less. However he has proven he can match with the elite players at time.
Be interesting to see how Purcell goes in majors when he’s up against similar rankings. He should be looking at some 250/500s soon

Now reached a career high ranking of 65! Ridiculous. Jumped 22 ranking spots. Higher then Popyrin, OConnell, Kubler.
O’Connell should just go back to those tournaments and get into the top 50 if that’s the case.

Remembered reading somewhere that De Minaur got less tour/ranking points winning in a ATP500 then an Aussie (think might’ve been Kubler) winning a match in the challenger/250. Just weird.

They might need to look at capping challenger appearances or have some kind of 250/challenger ratio because Purcell, credit to him, seems to be cashing in on a bit of a loophole.
Just a quick question, does anyone know if Rafa is okay to play at RG? Or is it all still up in the air?!

Nadal to hold a press conference later today to announce his status regarding the French Open. This far out from the tournament I'd expect he'd be pulling out which is a shame

Actually a surprisingly good draw. Ruud (why mate?), Zverev, Fritz, Dimitrov, I mean it’s mainly decent players who are just out of form on the clay. O’Connell is in this one.
Lyon:
Again, not a terrible draw. FAA needs some matches, maybe he’ll win a few games here. Cam Norrie 2nd seed who hasn’t recaptured his early season clay form. I’m keen to see Fils who is on after the current Schwartzman match. Baez/Fucsovics could be a fun R1 match.
