And at 22, it would be a stretch to imagine this kid making an impact at international level as a big.

My point being, their Boomers careers will barely overlap, they are different generations.
I'll completely disagree I think Thybulle will be one playing till his mid 30's as he is such a great athlete. My points actually that a young athletic shot blocker could make an impact early in their career with the Boomers as that's all where missing. Im saying I think we have a special player developing here.

"The 6-foot-7 Travers, who will be stashed overseas for at least another year because of his rawness and Cleveland’s roster crunch, did a little bit of everything in his first NBA action. He scored six points, grabbed five rebounds, dished out three dimes and swatted five shots (he says his career-high is four). And he did it all while playing just 24 minutes."

Haha

...then watched film from Travers’ season with the Perth Wildcats in the New Zealand Basketball League.

He’ll have some good overlap with the other two mentioned regardless, provided they all develop well.

Duop Reath the most impressive of our NBL guys in their Summer League debuts, he had 11 points and 7 boards in just 16 minutes.

Found this in the NBL thread, thought it was worth putting it here. Don’t really think he’ll get another go, but would be cool to see.

A sprained ankle is a disaster. Way to click bait, Foxsports.

His lateral movement on D is a sight to behold. Giddey with another good turnout for OKC, no noticeable improvement in his 3 however.

Summer League updates from todays action -

Jack White and Luke Travers went head to head today.

White - 8pts, 15rebs, 3blks, 2asts, 1stl in 20 mins.
Travers - 3pts, 7rebs, 2asts, 2stls in 21 mins.

The 3 Phoenix boys - Duop Reath got the start but injured himself (hyperextended his leg it sounds like) after 2 and a half minutes. Managed a 2 and a board in those 2 minutes. JLA and DJ both played about 7 minutes. JLA had 6pts, 2rebs, 1stl while DJ hit a three and dropped a dime.

The 2 Chicago boys - Akoldah Gak played 12 minutes and had 2pts and 3rebs. Makur Maker played 3 minutes and didn't impact the stat sheet positively.

Thought Jack White played great. Bought so much energy, continually ran the length of the court, chased every rebound like a mofo and his defense was outstanding.

Sounds like he might have emerged as a candidate for a two-way spot.

That's how I read it unless they send him to Europe to get different experience.

I don't think he's ready for an import spot in a decent European league, so playing there would only hinder his development IMO.
Another NBL season under a coach that isn't ScoMo seems like the wisest move to me.

I may be a bit hard but Giddey is a 'chucker'.

His action is a bit of a push and the extension appears to change at times.

Elite actions in every sport requires a pure or clean repetitive action.

Once that skill is obtained only then can you start changing parts of the action.

He will have good days but not overall.

Looks like Dante has rejected what I assume was roughly 30 NBA offers and instead signed with Partizan for next year. It'll be interesting to see whether he gets a larger role than with Barca and whether he can become 'the man' or at least something close to it.
