If Ben does play then I think Cooks would be the one to make way for him or perhaps neither Thon or Duop makes the team and Ben plays the small centre role. For what its worth Ive been on some of the Nuggets supporter social media. They seem to be big fans of the improvement Jack White has shown this year and say his 3 point shot improved dramatically as the year went on. Considering he shot the 3 at over 40% in the G League (where the 3 point line is NBA distance) I could see him not only being a surprise inclusion but playing a significant role potentially. He's obviously great defensively so its a matter of how well he is hitting three pointers in training and exhibition games.

New team based on ben proving he is fit before the exhibition games begin. If not Cooks makes the team. Nuggets fans seem to think Jack White is considered an elite shooter by Nuggets coaches which is the basis of him being added to the team.

Josh Bannan won't make the World Cup team but I think he's a legit prospect who will excel fin the next twelve months. Recently he's been working out with the Indiana Pacers in an attempt to make their team.

Surprised not more has been said about Jack White being the next NBA Aus champion
i've got a friend who married an American and lives in Denver. He's a mad keen nuggets fan and he says the media, the fans and the Nuggets organisation all love Jack White because of how hard he has worked on his game since he's been with the Nuggets. Unlike when he played in the NBL his three point shooting is now at a very high level and he's considered a legit 3 and D guy now. My tip is he'll be the surprise inclusion in our final World Champ squad and play a significant role.
Here is Jack's G League stats below. I know obviously he's older than NBA draftees but his stats compare favourably to all of the guys that have gotten drafted early in recent years who have played in the g League the season before they were drafted. His three point shooting over his NBL career was less than 30% and at G League level in 2022/2023 he's making around two 3 pointers a game shooting at over 40%. The G League uses the NBA 3 point distance measurements so slightly further out than FIBA too.

Mojave King taken with pick 47 to the Pacers today. Dunno if he’ll ever play for Australia but I’m pretty sure he said at one stage he sees himself as Australian.

It's very strange. He's being ignored by Aussie media, and not being celebrated as an Aussie NBA draftee. WTF is going on here?
I've known about him choosing Australia over NZ for years.
I dunno, did nothing in the NBL, completely falls off the map by going to the g league and ends up going late in the second round. Plus even the NBL website has him listed as a New Zealand-American. Doubt it's a story the average person would care about much.

Shot 20 odd percent from 3 in the G League, surprised he was drafted to be honest. As for a Boomers prospect, I think we already have better versions of him.

And from what I’ve heard, his attitude when he was in the NBL wasn’t great

When I first read about Mojave King in terms of a future prospect that could make the NBA he was considered a superior prospect to Josh Giddey and that was 4 years ago. I'm surprised he was drafted as well to be honest. He seems to have shown very little improvement in recent seasons. As far as prospects who could be in contention to play for the Boomers in the short to medium term outside of the World Champs squad then Taran Armstrong and Tyrese Proctor are far better guard prospects. Alex Toohey would also be a better wing prospect too. Toohey just signed with the Kings in the NBL rather than playing college ball. His playmaking and shooting ability for a 6'8 player makes him a very interesting prospect coming through. He could be the Joe Ingles replacement long term.

Just came here to mention Toohey de-committing from the Zags to join the Kings as a Next Star.
