So you don't think politicians and globalists can be evil again? Got news for you mate, you're 100% wrong.
Where did I say this? You were the one who brought this unrelated topic up! Of course the likes of Putin are evil. I have said plenty of times on the international thread.

We were discussing climate change & you have conveniently tried to deflect by claiming I said something that I never even mentioned!

Suggest you get back to the safety of your bunker before the world ends lol...

Wow, you have gone into full cooker mode lol.

I used to think you were a parody account for someone else, but scarily you really believe the shit you post.

You're brainwashed, period. Exposed you on digital id already.
Yeah, the government are tracking my every move.

At the moment ASIO are pissing themselves laughing at this conversation... ;)

Better get back to your bunker & cut off all communications for a while so they can't track you.

Given religion for many centuries held back science, and persecuted anyone who dared to study and practice it, thus ensuring that todays technologies are miles behind where they probably should be..

and that its the biggest load of utter horseshit ever foist upon the human race that has been the excuse for nearly all the wars and acts of genocide througout human history..

and the leaders of these religions seem to have a passion for sexually abusing little children..

and that many of its followers love to use it as a right of passage to persecute the minority groups in our societies in insecure acts of intolerance..

the question really shouldn't be about me and why I’m against religion..
the question should be..

”why the hell is anyone in favour of it?”…
Thank you for validating my point!

Next he’ll be telling us the earth is really flat and is secretly run by lizard people disguised as humans..

As soon as someone starts ranting and carrying on about “WEF” and “WHO” and id cards and cashless banking blah, blah, blah you know they have been frequenting the cooker conspiracy pages in the dark recesses of the www…

Bahahahaha.. Ah, good old Crow Till I Die..

The bloke who, like all of us, watched Donald Trump actually suggest to the world that we should try injecting bleach into our own veins if we get covid as a remedy… but still thinks Trump is a great leader!

And he reckons I’m the drunk one in here!..

The drunk ones in here are the strange motherfcckers that are gullible enough to fall for cooker conspiracy theories and con artists like the donald..

Not the one standing up and calling them out on this utter nonsense.
#wordsalad. #greatnorthern

You mean all those things you clowns called conspiracy theories and are now real? Your credibility= 0 . If I got exposed that badly I'd stay off these politics threads. How frickin embarrassing.

Just cause they are “real” in your head, and on the dumbfxxk darkweb sites you clearly frequent, doesnt instantly make any of this conspiracy theorist nonsense true.

This… all helped along by the nutjob heros of his like Palmer, Kelly, Trump and Christensen…

Which cooker were you following back here Clamster?

Was it Palmer, Kelly… don’t tell me it was Novak Djokovic!

The other problem with all this vaccine hope is that, not only is it going to take 18 months or so to develop, its very possible that its going to have some nasty side affects..

They were discussing this on the radio yesterday.. Covid-19 is another SARs illness and thus any vaccine will be just like the last SARs vaccine which had some horrid side effects.. the only reason this didnt become a problem was because the SARs Virus petered out before the vaccine was used in any great numbers.

If you want to know why the BoM got it so badly wrong, you need to look at these images:
2951651

This shows the surface sea temperature anomaly, compared to the 1971-2000 baseline. Note the big red blob off the west coast of Ecuador - this is indicative of an El Nino weather pattern. Note also the red blobs off the east coast of Australia - this is unusual in an El Nino year, and it's these high surface temperatures which have provided the moisture which has fallen as rain during November/December/January.

In a typical El Nino year, there is a strong temperature gradient between the eastern Pacific (hot) and western Pacific (cool). This results in the trade winds blowing from west to east, resulting in dry weather in Australia and floods in countries on the eastern Pacific boundary. This year, there was a temperature gradient (as you can see above), but the pool of hot water in the western Pacific has meant that the trade winds didn't kick in as normal (which is why the BoM was so reluctant to declare an El Nino event in the first place). As a result, there is more moisture in the atmosphere on the eastern side of Australia.

This is being compounded by a positive Southern Annular Mode, which relates to the winds blowing around Antarctica. I'm not 100% certain about how this works. My understanding is that this is blowing fronts through further north than they usually track, for this time of year. These fronts are then interacting with the moisture (mentioned above), resulting in storms and floods.
global_sst_anom_to2024.png

This shows the world's average sea surface temperature, for every year from 1981-2024. The orange line represents 2023, and it is clearly higher than any other year, from mid-March onwards. The solid black line in the top-left corner represents the observations so far in 2024, picking up where 2023 left off. The 2023 temperatures are more than 2 standard deviations above the average, and looking at that graph, they're probably closer to 4 standard deviations above. This is completely unprecedented.

global_temp_monthly_c3s.jpg

This shows the surface air temperature anomaly, for 2023 - vs every other year since 1940. Once again, it's the hottest on record from June onwards, miles above any previous recorded temperature.

The BoM's computer models, used for making (short-term) weather and (long-term) climate predictions, are based on observations made over the last ~100 years. However, as the images above show, the temperatures are far exceeding those used in creating the BoM's models. As a result, the models are becoming increasingly inaccurate, as the weather moves further and further away from the baseline temperatures they assumed as "normal". This heating is entirely due to the effects of climate change.

Note that both the large pool of hot water (off the east coast of Australia), and the unusually strong Southern Annular Mode, are the result of climate change.

The next question which needs to be asked is why the BoM haven't updated their models, to account for the effects of climate change? Partly, it's because the temperatures observed in 2023 were so far above anything previously observed - even from 2020-2022 - that they simply didn't have time to come up with new models. Partly, it's because the previous LNP Govt were a bunch of climate deniers, who actively defunded the BoM's climate change science sections, limiting their ability to understand what is happening and adjust their models accordingly.

What needs to happen is the creation of new models (which properly account for changes due to climate change) and/or updating their existing models to reflect the new reality.

Wow.. this is the second time you’ve tried to use these pre covid vaccine comments I made in a desperate attempt to somehow claim I am or was against the vaccine..

I made those comment BEFORE the covid vaccine was developed.

And those comments were based on my concerns, at that time, that we may not even be able to produce an effective and safe vaccine and that if we are able to it could take 18 months or so..

All very valid points at the time.. which was probably around april or may of 2020 when the covid virus had only just hit Australian shores in any real numbers.

Fortunately scientists (you know who and what they are right?) were actually able to swiftly develop a very safe and effective vaccine for covid.. proving that my initial fears we could be waiting years before they could were misplaced..

I trust the science behind vaccines..

I am still in awe of how quickly the scientific community was able to create a safe and effective vaccine.. didnt think they would be able to achieve it as fast as they did.

We’re bloody lucky they achieved that as far as I am concerned..

So..
Your second desperate attempt to try and produce some big smoking gun on me being against the covid vaccine is just as the first.. turning out to be nothing more than the meaningless pop of a pitiful little pea shooter..

Why did our government accept this BS then. Do we just follow the US on everything.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the public face of the U.S. coronavirus pandemic response, told lawmakers this week that the social distancing recommendations forced on Americans "sort of just appeared" and were likely not based on scientific data.

Yes. I would expect that a change in climate to be an effect of climate change.

Slippery thinks that intelligence comes from taking a position at one point in time, and refusing to take into account anything else which happens after that date and arguing that point despite evidence coming forward to the contrary.

It is classic Slippery to use against someone that they change their position based on new evidence coming forward.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the public face of the U.S. coronavirus pandemic response, told lawmakers this week that the social distancing recommendations forced on Americans "sort of just appeared" and were likely not based on scientific data.

You really are clueless arent you..

You, and your ignorant buddies in here, lap this utter nonsense ip wothout question.

Did you even read the article?..

Nothing in the article actually directly quotes Fauci.. not one fxxkn sentence.

What it says is…

“Fauci, 83, made the startling revelation in a closed-door interview with the House Select Committee on Coronavirus Pandemic. He also testified that the lab leak hypothesis — which was often suppressed — was not a conspiracy theory and that the policies and mandates he promoted may increase vaccine hesitancy in the future, Committee Chair Brad Wenstrup, R-Ohio, wrote in a statement Wednesday.”

So… the claim that this entire article is based on comes straight from the mouth of a Republican from Ohio.. one Brad Wenstrup.. who is the chair of this REPUBLICAN party organised House select committee!..

Which, mind you, is of course being HELD BEHIND CLOSED DOORS.

You can almost guarantee Fauci said absolutely nothing of the sort of shite these Republican hacks are claiming.

At any point did you read that and think to yourself..

“Now, why would the Republican party want to hold a house select committee to interview Fauci in private, away from the publics gaze, behind closed doors… why wouldnt they want the public to watch Fauci answer their questions in full view of the press and the public?”..

Can you hazard a guess why that maybe is Eagleboy?.

I can..

Hunter Biden and his lawyers can too..

Because they know these pathetic little “behind closed doors” Republican house select committees are nothing more than the Republican party desperately holding these away from the public eye so after it they can come straight out after them and release total and utter lies to the public without any chance that anyone can say..

“Hang on.. thats actually not what was said”

Its disgusting and devious behaviour..

These republican flogs wanted Hunter Biden to turn up to their private little sham investigation into him.. and when he and his lawyers said “yep, we will be there but we want this shite to be able to be seen live by the entire country”

the Republicans refused to go ahead with it!..

Bahahahahahaha… how dodgy are these fxxkn morons..

And what a surprise you and your buddy crow till i die are naive and gullible enough to fall for this partisan nonsense.

Wake up.. you’re being conned you fools.

Yep.. and my position on vaccines never even changed.. i’ve always trusted the science and supported their use..

The concerns I had when I wrote that comment was around whether they would be able to develop a safe and effective one against covid in a timely manner..

Thankfully.. They did manage to do it.
