Hey Mutineer

CSIRO has updated their report & guess what Nuclear is still a vastly more expensive option compared to other energy sources.

Further, the coalition plan isn't realistic as would take even longer to implement.

Time for you to wise up this is a Dutton trojan horse.

I’m waiting with keen interest who the Coalition has got to do their modelling.

If it is who I think it is, you will be able to drive a bus through the holes in it.

And on that video he posted, a lot of ifs in the first few minutes. Not one nuclear power station has been built on budget or on time in the developed world but somehow we will. Yeh? Nah.

And him posting a video by a body who is aligned with the Liberal Party, yeh no bias at all.

And does the rest of the world care about our nuclear debate? Doubt it.

Does the CSIRO give a solution for base load??

Or are they on the 100 % renewable band wagon, fingers crossed the sun will be shining and the wind blowing.

You'd hope the CSIRO would be practical and not political.

Think most sensible observers realise we need to continue to use gas for the foreseeable future.

Cost of gas is significantly lower than Nuclear & it is available now & for decades to come unlike Nuclear.

There is no way a legitimate costing can show Nuclear being cost competitive.

Wont even be close.

But the biggest issue is won't help us for decades!

We need solutions far, far sooner to address our growing demands.

Unfortunately we live in an age where organisations like csiro don't hold any weight. A robot on Facebook can convince a million people that it is clueless based off nothing.

Labor are ****ed

Oh right. So they’re just not working then. Glad we cleared that up.
The fool states covid is killing people which is absolutely rubbish. The only people that could possibly die from covid would be people who have had their immune system destroyed from taking the so called vaccine.

The Liberals are throwing up the nuclear option so it can kick the can down the road.

Dutton has said previously if he wins the next election then they will the 3 year term as a period of community consultation before legislating.

As it is, they have little chance of having any sort of control in the Senate given they are defending the most seats of the two major parties (17 vs 11) - in the 2022 election the Coalition lost a net 4 Senate seats so their task is going to be harder. Even if they repeat their 2019 result (extremely unlikely) the most they will have is 32 senators - nowhere near enough even with the crossbenchers. If the ALP and Greens repeat 2019 (which ALP had a low result) then they jointly can defeat all legislation. Amazing analysts haven’t worked this out.

Yes, this board is proof that there are plenty following the robot's latest conspiracy theories.

So many clueless sheep in this world lacking critical thinking.

Exhibit A.

Exhibit B.

Lol, 18th?

You realise how many cities are currently at war with pleny of people dying.

Things are not great in Alice Springs, but watch some international news & get a grip!

Is Alice Springs anywhere near these murder rates? No it's 9.3 per 100K, compared to 77+ for the top 10 cities. Not even in the same ballpark.

He who uses the term base load does not understand the NEM
What does firming mean in electricity?

Electricity facilities that can generate and or deliver electricity to the market when demand is high or when renewable energy is not meeting demand are known as firming infrastructure.

Have you lived there?

Moderna better return the taxpayers money they were fraudulently given by Morrison and Albanese.

Have you lived there?
Lol, you still persisting comparing to the outlaw Mexican cities controlled by drug cartels?

Then there are Ukrainian cities which collectively had 30K deaths.

How about the 60K deaths in Sudan Khartoum war?

Or the 46K killed in Gaza?

Yeah, I'm sure Alice Springs is on the same scale... Not!
