Probably keeping the seat warm whilst someone is on maternity leave...The problem is the current Liberal leader ain’t much chop either.
He might have more energy but will need more than that.
I also believe the police should be called in the case of sloppy wording.Communications Legislation Amendment (Combatting Misinformation and Disinformation) Bill 2024
Helpful information Text of bill First reading: Text of the bill as introduced into the Parliament Third reading: Prepared if the bill is amended by the house in which it was introduced. This version of the bill is then considered by the second house. As passed bywww.aph.gov.au

On the surface I think it has great merit but there is a problem. Most social media use algorithms to police the rules. So this will be no different. By asking social media companies to police this, it will fall to a lazy algorithm which means any sloppy wording or quote could be highlighted by the algorithm for breaking the rules. Im not in favour of this at all. This should be a police matter.
The grammar police! They are vicious.I also believe the police should be called in the case of sloppy wording.
It's unusual for an incumbent government to win 1 let alone 2 by-elections, both seats belonging to former leaders.Oh dear, on early counting a swing of 13% to the government. The Liberals are a mess in this state.
The Liberals might as well not even bother in Adelaide.Oh dear, on early counting a swing of 13% to the government. The Liberals are a mess in this state.
Well they can blame residual anger over covid. Basically let the covid commitee run the state. The Liberals might as well not even bother in Adelaide.
They've been as useless as the Redbacks for the last 20 years.
Remember Isobel Redmond...LOL.
They won't be getting back in next election & need to make some ground back as coming from too far back. The Liberals might as well not even bother in Adelaide.

Reckon the ex-oppostion leader being filmed doing lines had more impact.Well they can blame residual anger over covid. Basically let the covid commitee run the state.

There is nuclear waste stored in every major city in Australia... much of which comes from hospitals. This has been the case for decades. And some on here try to tell us the ALPBC isn't politically biased, what a joke, not even trying to hide it anymore. ABC = Political arm of the ALP.
Adelaide residents blindsided by decision to store AUKUS nuclear waste at submarine shipyards - ABC News

This is true, but there's a world of difference between the low-level waste produced by hospitals and the high-level waste in the form of spent fuel rods. There is nuclear waste stored in every major city in Australia... much of which comes from hospitals. This has been the case for decades.
This is why there have been numerous attempts to find somewhere more remote to store all this waste in a more suitable place... but no one wants nuclear waste stored in their backyard.
Is there in terms of risk? This is true, but there's a world of difference between the low-level waste produced by hospitals and the high-level waste in the form of spent fuel rods.
There absolutely is, in terms of risk.Is there in terms of risk?
Bottom line is we do need a proper storage solution, but no government yet has been able to make it happen.
