Of course you'd like Birmingham, his Politics would be more suited to the Labor Party.

Penny Wong has been a dusaster for Australia regards Israel.
Lol, disaster in what way?

Are you blaming Wong for the Middle East conflict now?

Wong is recognised as a quality performer by all sides of politics, as was Birmingham.

You judge quality based on how conservative they are, rather than actual performance!

I feel she is good on her job more than capable, but that Israel policy is terrible. A stab in the back.
You might I don't, maybe you could get a character reference from Kimberly Kitching if she was still alive.

Wong and the whole ALP have been a disaster for the jewish people both here with their piss poor reraction to the dumpster fire that they've overseen locally regards antisemetism and on the World stage with their abandonment of Israel.

All for the Muslim vote at the next election, no other reason.....pathetic on all levels.

Thanks Cwissy Bowen, what a walking talking fool this bloke is.

Every chance he single handrdly costs Albanese the election just like he cost Bill Shorten the unloseable election when shadow treasurer with his ridiculous tax reform policy.....all that after he failed dismally asImmigration Minister with record numers of boats and people and God knows how many lives lost on these trecherous voyages.

‘Bonkers. Madness. Stupid’: Expert slams blackout warnings

With the state’s power grid on life-support, a leading infrastructure boss says Australia’s energy systems have us ‘rushing into a third world county’.
Each of these coal plants is privately owned, after they were sold off by the former Coalition government.

The Australian Energy Market Operator – showing 68% of NSW’s mix came from coal over 24 hours

A veteran infrastructure expert has slammed the latest blackout warning in NSW, claiming the rapid transition to renewables has us “rushing into a third world country”.
Paul Broad, who spent decades as a senior public servant, including as CEO of Snowy Hydro and Infrastructure NSW, believed the alarming lack of power supply in the grid had been hidden by several mild summers.
“It has hidden the vicarious position that our energy sector has got itself into. It’s a reflection of some real ill-considered policies and a rush to close our base load power plants which are not being maintained properly,” he said.
“We are rushing into a third-world country.
“This is a mad rush to drop our living standards. You and I have grown up on phenomenal living standards driven by cheap, available energy. According to the Australian Energy Market Operator, in the last 24 hours, more than 66 per cent of NSW’s power came from black coal, with 16 per cent from solar, 6 per cent from wind, 8 per cent from hydro and 2 per cent from gas.

This bonkers energy policy needs to be re-evaluated.
In times of high electricity demand, we don't have enough. wtf
When people are coming home after work and the government is telling people to restrict their usage because solar doesn't work late in the afternoon.
What sort of a government tells its people to cut back on their energy use?

Increasing migration is going to increase the need for more energy. Where is it coming from?

And how many are aware of another Cwissy Bowen well hidden secret from the Australian voters $3.5 Billion of taxpayers money propping up his renewables disaster. in other words one way or the other we're all paying our own $75 power rebate every quarter....One of the reasons the RBA is not lowering interest rates.

While this is in the target range, Ms Bullock said it was more accurate to watch the trimmed mean inflation rate, as it strips out volatile assets. This figure came in at 3.5 per cent in the month to October, above the RBA’s target.

“The word sustainability is important, because it recognises that we look through temporary factors that influence headline inflation rates from time to time”, she said.

Ms Bullock said while headline inflation is falling due to helpful policies for many Australians, these electricity rebates are only a temporary measure, which the RBA is looking beyond. Currently the Australian government is providing $3.5bn to extend and expand the Energy Bill Relief Fund and provide electricity bill rebates to Australian households and eligible small businesses by paying the first $75 of every electricity bill in the country.

Yeh another moderate Liberal jumping ship. Are there any moderates left in the Liberal Party?

So you are putting him in the same basket as Turnbull I suppose given he is a moderate rather than a far right wing looney.

The Jews are not blameless in this whole episode at all and if the Israeli PM is charged with war crimes then I don’t have a problem with it. Another far right government which thinks rules don’t apply.

PS : Coalition never go for particular votes at an election. I’ll give one word - immigration. Do you understand your hypocrisy and projection? FMD!

Perhaps we need to look at the market as a whole given transmission between the five states over the past 24 hours. And the coal stations are now privately owned and upgrade not financially viable over long term.

All I know is from the brief news ive seen, Isreal are not only holding their own against Palestine and Hammas but they are dishing back more pain then they are getting and have threatened to send in squads and wipe Palestine from the map. Im not sure why there is criticism of foreign governments staying neutral instead of protecting the jews. Protect the Jews from what? they seem to have an elite armed forces doing way more than the job requires. Just following Trumps pro Isreal stance is what it sounds like.

As for your PS

'Stop the boats'

Paul Keating doesn't think much of most people.

Thought even less of ScoMo.

Keating is one of those people that if he thinks he is more intelligent then you he wont give you any respect. Thats why he is highly irrelevant and no one gives him the time of day until an election comes around and they want a sound bite.

“This is going to go down as one of the darkest stains in our history, ever. When Victoria effectively became a police state. You had, in the name of public health, the declaration of marshall law.

“I think people are going to look back… if they supported that.. they’re going to look back in shame. This is a mass violation of civil rights in the name of public health. If scientists, and epidemiologists and public health… don’t repudiate that, then the kind of reputation that we scientists have is going to be besmirched.”

There's a good chance that Albanese and Dutton's under 16 free speech ban is unconstitutional and will be thrown out. Elon and others will mount a rigorous case to defeat this law which has been designed to harm childrens ability to be informed, participate in political debate and express themselves. Even China allows 40 mins of social media for under 8's each day and an hour per day for over 8's. Australia has now become the most dystopian country on earth. Shameful.

Banning under-16s from social media may be unconstitutional – and ripe for High Court challenge

Andrews is a psychopath that used Covid to allow his lust for communism to be unbridled and to see how far he could take it. He should be locked up for the harms he willingly caused.

The big problem we face in the modern era of disinformation is that we are now merely writing off news and content as automatically wrong just because it came from a particular media source. While the above post makes an excellent point, what exact failure does it address? The ABC is a public funded channel for good reason. What exactly is low quality crap? for a market share that is considerably large they are doing a lot right.

It's wild that there would be people who simultaneously support this law who would also support lowering the voting age to 16, then would claim to be protecting democracy.

WOW!
Did you really write that?

That perfectly describes several regular posters on the Adelaide politics boards to a tee.
