Big outs, no doubt about it.I think we underestimate the influence that Will and Warlord has in the middle

Bridge Rd Brewers is also pretty good. The Beechworth Bakery is massively overrated unless you have indulged at one of the breweries/nice old pubs the night before and are craving some hangover food. For the first time, I genuinely didn’t care for the game.
I do recommend Billson’s Brewery in Beechworth
That's true.We just don't do enough transitioning it out of defence, and the turnovers speak for themselves.
It really annoyed me when I heard it. Maybe that's how they cope with so many losses over the last 3 years. But if you're getting $10,000 plus a week, maybe be a professional.I could totally believe that, it's probably endemic throughout a large proportion of the playing group.
This is both a bold and brave opinion that I completely agree with. Well done good sir!The Beechworth Bakery is massively overrated
I don't have a problem with it. AFL actually has a close relationship with Ireland.yes who holds the African games record? Bloody Korean? and so forth, I think the AFL is a racist organisation.
That's true.

I was up in Albury this weekend, just got home, but I didn’t realise Beechworth was so close and my fave drink was made there, their tastings are unreal so many great flavours. Came home with so many drinks lol.Bridge Rd Brewers is also pretty good. Sorry but I thought Zurhaar was horrid again today. Constantly trying to break 10 tackles and kick the miraculous goal rather than the team first dish off to advantage the team. He needs to work out what sort of player he wants to beAbout what I expected, a 10 goal loss, but didn't expect to be so thoroughly smashed through the middle and that was before Simpkin concussed.
Phillips and Powell would help in this area but we still lack classy and quick two way runners in there.
Positives were Cooper, Zurhaar, LDU, TT, Sheezel, Fordy and Scott. Thought Lazzaro and Perez showed a bit in flashes.
LMac - just plain awful, father time catching up with him taking a battering all these year? Should be dropped for Goater or Archer.
Corr - was starting to looking ok then kicks it straight to the oppo. Probably stays in another game.
Ziebell - Gives a 100% but his foot skills and decision making real poor. Him and Lmac in a possession chain is "cover your eyes" can't watch type stuff.
Lachie Young - played 42 games, I'd delist, had enough time and shown not AFL standard. Probably gets another game though unless Archer?.
Perez - 21 games. He has some talent to my eyes but injuries have cruelled him. Persist for another year.
Lazzaro - 26 games, is is too early to write him off? Thought he worked into the game a bit better. Another year as contracted.
Ford - Just keep pumping games into him. Has talent and class.
Cooper - Looks like he'll make it. Very good first game I thought. Keep pumping games into him
Xerri - 25 games played. Again is it too early to make a call? Not convinced with his football skill level though
If that’s players of LDU’s generation then this club is beyond ****ed.I'm not ITK, not well connected but do have a mate who knows a player. Heard some worrying things. It sounds a lot like the mid to senior players are just resigned to being sh!t and don't see it as their responsibility to improve things. As though they just happen to be unlucky to be there and can't do anything about it. Happy to have $10,000k plus put in their bank accounts each week though. There's a lot of going out, poor preparation before training , pretending to be earnest at the club but really not giving a rat"s. And apparently some really loose behaviour but that wasn't elaborated on. Not surprising though given how unfit we are. Then there's Sheezel, Wardlaw and some other kids being absolute professionals. So rifts at the club.
Albury = Snake Baker territory (the high flying Nth forward, not that other fella luckily).I was up in Albury this weekend, just got home, but I didn’t realise Beechworth was so close and my fave drink was made there, their tastings are unreal so many great flavours. Yeah it’s just like any other bakery, I usually go to the one in Healesville, steak and mushroom pie was elite lol

It's a great area for food and drinks, and natural beauty of course.Albury = Snake Baker territory (the high flying Nth forward, not that other fella luckily).
Beechworth is a pretty good place for a weekend.
Hardly much solace but personally I think losing by 171 point to a team who themselves are going through the leanest period for years is smouldering in the pits of football hell. We are more like stranded on a pile of rocks 20 feet from the opening of hell, we can see daylight, keep telling ourselves if we can see daylight there is still hope, but have no f***ing idea how we are going to start to escape, and have the feeling we could fall at anytime.
Kind of like that camera crew that were stranded near the mouth of a volcano and couldn't get out.
I was about to write a post that this upcoming pre-season, more than ever, the playing group as a whole need to see each other smashing PBs because hope is starting to fade fast and you don't want to taint another batch of young players. They need something to hang their hat on to say yes, we will be better in 2024.
Sounds like they'll be smashing VBs instead.
Going to the Beechworth Bakery is a bit like when you go to a kids play. The performance may of just been ok but you feel strangely compelled to say it was really, really good. This is both a bold and brave opinion that I completely agree with. Well done good sir!
Hahaha we went out to the only 2 bars Zed and BeerDelux and they were both shit.Albury = Snake Baker territory (the high flying Nth forward, not that other fella luckily).

Kids went there a few months ago and bought me a steak pepper pie to try. Was ok - had better - overpriced.Going to the Beechworth Bakery is a bit like when you go to a kids play. The performance may of just been ok but you feel strangely compelled to say it was really, really good.
Not surprised. That's been LMac for most of his career and it's Curtis Taylor to a tee. Head of the teams social club. (puts on my North are kinda shit positivity hat) .. so, it made for some interesting people watching experiences then?Hahaha we went out to the only 2 bars Zed and BeerDelux and they were both s**t.
Zed was a bit better but so many legit weirdos.
I’ve been wondering how many of our blokes look at their Geelong, Collingwood, Port etc opponent after they’ve been run ragged, and think “how do I get to that level” and how many think “ah well”?

Half the team is phoning it in at the moment.
I know football isn't their entire life but I don't want to see cooking, painting, podcasts, twitch streams etc. until they are putting everying they can into their performances.
