Hi guys,

I'll keep this fairly brief. I'm going to be joining the Royals for S24.

Having won the premiership and with the club stacked full of talent, the club is as well placed for the future as could be hoped.

Thanks a lot for the last couple of seasons, I've loved my time here and hope to be back one day. It's been great playing with absolute legends and stars of the comp.

Have faith in Haro and KohPhi, you couldn't ask for a better duo to lead the club forward.

All the best, I'll be rooting for you next season..

Sorry to see you go mate. but its understandable.. the rest of the league is in crisis with head wobblers and people I dont know - so go be that beacon of good hope and a ray of sunshine on an otherwise dull league --- outside of the bombers that is.

The Sweet Football Association was created in 2001 and has just wrapped up it's 23rd season and has seen near 2,000 people come through the league during that period of time.

The viability/success/growth of the league is normally agreed to centre around "activity" amongst the player base. That is to say, banter, boasting, excuse-making, big calls, dares, and any form of drama that makes the environment an interesting, amusing and perhaps volatile one for participants. Approaches vary from taking one's performance very seriously to putting oneself down at every opportunity.

Each match has its own thread where pre-match banter is key. The games will be posted in there on Sundays in post-form. Each team has its own thread also for in-house discussion about the league.

Matches consist of a random simulation which will create a transcript of the game and that transcript will be posted in the match thread.

Just like in a real-life league, each season culminates in a finals series, a Grand Final, and a set of awards. Last season we won the Grand Final because we are the bestest team. There is no reason not to feel a sense of prestige in any of these achievements. Clubs are always looking for new talent. While on-field performance is completely random, players whose real-life personas actively participate - posting regularly, adding value to the discussion and debate - are prized members of the Sweet FA community.

I'd like to thank Itsmyshow for his many seasons of service to the club and more importantly, his recent finals performance and Deestroy medal winning game which lifted us to a flag.

At this time, IMS has decided that his time is up at the Bombers and will be looking to join another side for S24.

IMS has provided me with great insight as an experienced head during his time at the club, and I'd also like to thank him personally for that.

Good luck IMS.

Really sad to hear but good luck to IMS for the future. I know in years to come I will look back and IMS will be the Darren Jarman/Troy Bond of our Premiership with his goal kicking heroics!

Mate another really disappointing departure. Had a lot of fun this season and really enjoyed your contributions so I will miss that. I wish you all the very best for next season but must leave with the most important question....

Even though you will be at another club will you still be available for the dwarf throwing events I put on last season??
