You said he was definitely playing and will be captain next year!!!! You are a fool.

Why don't you and your two chins take yourself and your photo of serge off to Jenny Craig and put your time to good use and lose weight. Then one day you might be able to firstly see your toes and then if you work really hard your c**k. Oh thats right, you will then have to get your eyes done with lasers to correct your vision. Then you might see how big a non sensical f**kwit you really are!

Oracle will always rule KA.

Re: Ballarat Football League

I was talking to a former ballarat player yesterday he said there is abit of unrest at the club, seems a few of the players are getting greedy!

You have to be joking. The only players wanting to come to Ballarat are Newman and Cheevers. They want to come to a winning club!!!!

Swans Rule Darley!!!

Re: Ballarat Football League

Can someone please tell me a bit about the Darley Football Club? I know they played in the grand final and thier coach is the highly respected Gary Learmonth

Started in 1919 so is 90 years old in 2009 so has a long successful history winning 19 odd premierships. Not much success in recent years last taking home the chocolates in 1995 however as you stated, played off in the GF last year going down after the siren. In 12 odd years in the BFL have missed the finals only once so record hasn't been too bad. Peanuts like Oracle would have you believe they were the best team all year in 2008 but Darley had a great year losing only the two games (inc the GF) having won only 4 games in 2007. Facilities are now excellent with a recent extension to the club rooms and with hopefully some new lights by the start of next year should see plenty of night football. Probably no bigger supporter base in the BFL and certainly none more passionate (the odd 'loud mouth' and plenty of blue tongues -not unlike most clubs) but you wouldn't want to playing or barracking for anyone else when the crowd gets going.

Darley should be there abouts again in 2009 with no worse a list than what was there in 2008. Respect from other Clubs and Umpires has been a problem in the past however the culture of the club has improved considerably under Gary and that will only improve in coming years.

Hope that helps!

They say that sarcasm is the lowest form of wit but the dribble that comes off your fingers tips would go one better! Not sure if you've met KA or not before but seems like you have given the way you pot him. I bet that most posters would like to know who you are and what you look like cos I'm guessing you're no oil painting like the rest of us. The unfortunate thing about you is you've got a fat head after the grand final win and we all have to put up with your crap, even the Ballarat supporters. It's a shame that most of your comments are now just plain embarassing

Ballarat's Grand Final win was fantastic for your club as it would have been for ours and a just reward for all those players and supporters who have been there through thick and thin.

Oh come on Good Things, are you the Oprah of Big Footy? I will stand by my comments as KA does nothing but can players and supporters with his unsubstantiated claims and you get jack of it.

Ballarat is very proud of their great and after copping it all last year on the thread from your darley supporters, you have had to eat humble pie.

As the great eminem once said Lose yourself in the moment don't ever let it go. We are at Ballarat until xmas.

.

I stand by it. Turn up to training on Monday and see for yourself.
Matt Sutton will be player and captain at Melton South in 2009. Has he returned your calls yet??

I can't wait to own a little nuffy window licker. You can start by cleaning the Subury Social Club windows and then I will send you over to Darley.

Re: Ballarat Football League

Two Good Friday games next year

DAVID BREHAUT

BALLARAT Football League will have two matches on Good Friday next year.
The fixtures in Ballarat and Darley will open the RegionalOne BFL season.
Reigning premier Ballarat will be home to Lake Wendouree, while Darley will take on Melton South under lights on April 10.
This will be the second time Darley has been the venue for a Good Friday match in three seasons.
The Devils played Sunbury in 2007 in front of what BFL chief executive officer Rod Ward described as the biggest home and away crowd of that season.
Mr Ward said the Good Friday matches had been scheduled at the request of the clubs involved.
Good Friday fell too early this year on March 21 to be considered as a feature of the BFL home and away draw.
Next season's opening round will conclude with three games on Easter eve (Saturday, April 11) leaving Easter Day free.
Ballarat Swans and Darley will have to wait until the Queens Birthday Long Weekend in June before having a grand final rematch.
They will clash at Dahlsens Park on Saturday, June 6, and again five weeks later at Darley on Saturday, July 11, as part of a split round.
The BFL will again have a rivalry round in the second week of the season, featuring battles between Melton South and Melton, Bacchus Marsh and Darley, and former Mars City Oval co-tenants Redan and Ballarat.
Other features of the draw:
THREE night matches on Anzac Day.
UNDER-18 challenge against Riddell District Football League at AUSTAR Arena in Ballarat on Wednesday, May 13.
INTER-city challenge against Bendigo Football League at Bacchus Marsh on Saturday, May 23.
SUNDAY matches in seven rounds
MELTON v Darley on Mothers Day (Sunday, May 10)
GRAND final at Eastern Oval on Saturday, September 19
Mr Ward said the BFL was keen to play as many Sunday matches as possible to build attendances. He said more night matches would be introduced as new lighting systems were installed across the competition.

No need to have a game on mothers day.

Who actually designs the draw, is it wardy? a.nunn? or the board?

Re: Ballarat Football League

I think they both do it, as Darley and Ballarat look to have reasonably good draws. Both play most of last years cellar dwellers twice.
Could understand Darley playing the bottom sides twice as they finished out the finals previous year.. but have to question why ballarat got that previledge aswell?

Re: Ballarat Football League

I think it is because they know Ballarat are terrible and as they did not beat any sides in the top 5 in the home and away season they will need all the help they can get to make the 6 in 2009.

Re: Ballarat Football League

Any chance that Kings Army and Oracle could arrange to meet at the Ballan servo and punch shit out of each other there so the rest of us can stop suffering through your ongoing bitchfest.
Simply PM each other to arrange the details and then post when and where once it's sorted out.
Those interested can attend for the laugh these two internet wizards would no doubt provide.

You won't have to put up with the nuffy for much longer as he will be gone from April 10. Your welcome.

Re: Ballarat Football League

Darley and Ballarat both play 4 of the bottom 5 sides twice. South only get only 2 of the bottom 5 sides twice and Sunbury 3.

Re: Ballarat Football League

BFL officials post on here so maybe he can fill us in on why Darley and Ballarat only pay 2 of the top 6 twice and South 4 of the top 6 twice???

Is it luck of the draw or personal preference or a rotating system to decide who plays who?

Darley had the toughest draw this year (playing every team in the top 6 twice). Is it based on a rotation system?
