I should have recognised that players like McDonald, Atley, Macmillan and Simpkin would benefit from being dropped and could be expected to come back into the team after finding form in the VFL, thus enhancing the team they return to.

Atley was dropped in 2016^ and has been consistently (tho not world beatingly) good since. Until late last season. In round 1 he was one of our best players.

I don't think coaches should name players. i think he's got that right. He never criticises them by name, well rarely.

You never should. (So he loses points for mentioning "younger players" not getting it right.)

Its either the whole team, or the leadership group imo and that's it.

He needs to defend his players publicly. This isn't about feel goodism or the nanny state either. Its about supporting your people in public and backing them in public whatever you may say and however harsh your private criticism. You should keep a tight unit and support your people to the hilt to the outside world. That is how you get the best out of people.

He's copped criticism on here for not giving players a public bagging and naming them but I thought this was a good opportunity to point out the value of not doing that.

I'd be happy if he just came out and said "What we did was unacceptable. We can only work harder this week to try and fix it." And just repeat that to every question when we lose. There's not much else to say really.

^Brad might not have been responsible for it tho.

Thats because the ground is RACIST! Racist against blue and white people. To top it off some players get paid more than others for doing exactly the same job.

Perhaps you need a Bex, a beer and a good lie down.

Not an excuse as such, but I'm expecting "we'll just focus on the process and the results will take care of themselves" to get trotted out at some stage during his presser.

I'm not entirely convinced that Brad has a clue in hell as to what "the process" actually is.

It’s peak at the moment. Cannot emphasise enough how much this campaigner is destroying our culture

It's not just him.

The system that keeps him there must also be removed.

Thanks, took your advise and strangely i now longer have the desire to vote Greens.

You now, longer, have a desire to vote Greens!!!

I'd recommend only voting for the candidates whose policies best reflect the direction you want the country to go and ignoring political parties all together.

So if you want a bunch of uncosted policies for new bike paths and a really toxic organisational culture, Vote 1 Greens:thumbsu:

The Greens are a joke now and have been for years.

But there is no better option. Both major parties think building a massive coal mine in the Galilee basin is a good idea. For example. And most minor parties are basket cases. No wonder people are disengaged from politics. Its full of shit.

Well then.

Maybe we should play on a way that emphasizes their collective strength.

Gee..............that's a radical idea.

It's not easy to do that when your primary tactical goal is negating the opposition.
