Picked up this today from EB on price match of JB for $39 bucks. The eb guy couldn't believe it but matched it. JB have it listed for 39 on ps4 and 68 for xbox.

Don't really know much about the game but was looking for a shooter game. Good reports on it?

It's good fun. Make sure you run with a squad though.

Squads are just the group you play with on maps, usually on weekends we get a party chat going and a few of us play.

Just add our psn's, mine is pantskyle.

Cool, mine's Lynchy25 I think. I have mainly been GTA, Footy, Cricket and NBA games, played a little bit of multiplayer COD with friends but looking forward to a war type shooter game. First player good? I mainly got this for online multiplayer mode.

Haven't really touched the campaign. You may as well jump right into the deep end get a feel of online.

Finally got a few lagless games on the new maps with camo last night. They're all pretty good, except for that map with the burning trees on the hills, so shit. The grind is real trying to unlock some of those newer weapons though, 300 kills with the martini? Not when it's been nerfed into oblivion.

Yeah I must say my last two sessions have felt amazingly consistent in regards to lag. Don't think I've felt hard done by even once in either of those sessions.
Every session since the update before that was a joke though.

Really not a fan of the map voting.
I used to enjoy knowing I could play the rotation of maps that I liked in a row all on the same server....now you get ppl voting for garbage like Sinai over Amiens.....SINAI FFS!!! :|
I usually base my session around playing Amiens and to see it get skipped is like a dagger to the heart!

Pretty sure I read it in the patch notes for the latest release

As in, hit detection on a per player basis based on ping?
So half a server is client side, half the server is server side and 2 players whose pings are fluctuating around the cutoff figure might be either client or server based switching every 30 seconds???

This sounds like ass, Dice/EA trying to be all things to all people.

Make it server side hit detection at all times and just let people host their own servers so all regions can be catered for.

Learnt that lesson with BF4. The community dont like map packs.

Shame because vanilla BF1 is pretty boring now. Cant even trade it in because it's digital..... Also played myself.

There are lobbies for the DLC maps in both frontlines and conquest modes every time I've jumped on since they were released.

The first map drop was extremely good (imo).
