Brilliant batting from Max Bryant. Obviously came out with a bang at the start of his career and then was just a tease for a few years. Middle order role seem to suit him and a really smart innings where he targeted his zones and made sure he farmed the strike where necessary

Im OK with Max Bryant refusing singles, in order to power hit for boundaries. I think he refused a single in the last 3 overs about 3-4 times. He was the one seeing it the best of the Heat batsman.

Still think it was criminal of Walter not to take the Surge when he got out on the rope. And the more I think about the Surge, the more I think it should be implemented in worldwide comps. It adds another tactical layer to white ball cricket.

Geez the Stars bowling attack is on the nose, need a complete overhaul for next season. How can you go into a season with this attack, probably expecting the batting would win them enough games to make finals
Peter Moores has to go. And I would disband the control of Cricket Victoria ownership of the Renegades and Stars. Let them be run independently. Its like Carlton and Collingwood being controlled by the same authority.

A head coach has minimal impact. The issues at the Stars go beyond the coach. Recruitment, being poorly run and not being run as their own entity are the most pressing issues.
