There's bronze, silver, gold and platinum tiers, platinums earn max $420k if they're available for all games.
Most others in the 100-200 k range, salary cap is just over $3 million.

Appreciate that bus. Ticket sales are modest so is it all $$ generated by tv ad gambling rev. ?

Just like the AFL and NRL.

Unlike those though the BBL gets decent viewership in South Asia, so even if it's a fraction of the IPL it's still probably more than Australia's population. Youtube highlights vids get way more views than any of the footy codes and the comments are 90% Indians.

Rogers getting the MOTM, Ellis and Seifert stiff to miss out, Rogers took early wickets when the pitch was helpful for bowlers.

Had to be a bowler, they were always chasing 74. Was just which one. They picked Rogers could have gone to the other two that got 3

Sutherland also took 3 wickets and he was the captain that was smart enough to bowl first, it was a bowl first wicket for sure.

It was like a test pitch that had some assistance for the bowlers early on and then flattened out later on.

The Hurricanes made it look a tougher pitch to bat on though by trying to bat like it was a road with some early reckless shots.

They wasted 8 overs by being bowled out early, if they had conserved some wickets and batted 20 overs they were in the game.

So you didn’t see the first 8 wickets yet still bashed the pitch?

Any pitch where it’s 140 a good score isn’t great. I don’t love 200 pitches either but a happy medium in the 165-175 range is good for everyone

The Spin show on Ch7 talking about women's cricket again, isn't the WBBL over now, any chance we can talk about men's cricket.

Chances are they had planned on discussing today's WODI between NZ & Aus, but that got rained out - WBBL discussion helps cover the gap

Women’s ODI’s meant to start today but it poured down at Basin Reserve

Ashes fixtures including a D/N ashes test in Melbourne were announced today

It shows how much I care about women's cricket that I didn't even know that NZ v Aus ODI was on today.

That being said women's cricket is still better to watch than the AFLW but that is a pretty low bar to clear.

Women's cricket has progressed massively the last 10-15 years. I don't go out of my to watch it but when I have the standard is pretty high. Outside of women's soccer it's probably the highest standard going around.

Batting is a real worry in this country, nothing wrong with the pitch, the Renegades would've scored 140 or 150 the way they were batting. But it's time they followed the IPL lead and prepare flat trackers for these games, people want to see sixes not wickets. The Hurricanes were also dreadful.

The pitches are fine for the most part.

I prefer to see a bit of life in the pitch rather than seeing both side hitting 6's for fun and scoring over 200 each.
You might as well use use a bowling machine.
