I would have sent Evans in ahead of Harvey personally. He can easily clear the ropes with the field up. Harvey like Marsh wouldn’t be getting a game if his dad didn’t play.

I remember sitting there during the Stars batting innings and was pretty content that the Stars were going to win, but kept repeating to myself, "just one wicket" - not necessarily thinking it would drastically change the result but more so that we didn't totally embarrass ourselves

We got them 3 wickets down & it started to seem a slightly more respectable effort from us in the field, but when they were suddenly 5/6 wickets down that was when the unlikely victory seemed possible - even more so once Bravo was back on the sidelines

Gades have enough to defend this. With Matt Short there id be more confident if I were an Adelaide fan. I’m not sold on Adelaides batting this tournament.

Thornton, Doggett, Overton and Adelaide’s spin twins bowled well. All teams batting here his season have struggled.

Seifert who's been at this best as an attacking player deciding to try and defend the last ball of a productive over but doesn't get bat on ball, instead is stumped - just needed to look to knock the ball into the gap but he didn't seem interested in even trying to score off it which was his downfall

Evans probably felt like he owed runs since they held the surge for him so he got greedy and took it early and underestimated Thornton.

Seifert saw Brown tee off and wanted to play safe but he got beat since like you said prob not his usual game.
 
Regardless of tonight's result, we need to look at our playing 11 going forward - the only change we've made in 5 matches has been Hassan Khan playing the first match when Bethell was unavailable, and he then came in for game two

Our bowling has been pretty solid so far, with the Sixers the only team to really get on top of things so far

But our batting unit hasn't clicked - we need to make a change to switch things up; maybe bring in young Harry Dixon to see what he can do

So Brown made about 60 off 40 balls

The others combined basically made 80 off 80 lol what a joke.

It’s not good - but the batting was dumb at best.

Strikers have had the benefit of watching them bat but it’s still up and down
