Surely the Renegades drop JFM now??!

I doubt we drop him from the 11, though maybe he'll develop some soreness and not be able to fly to Perth for Tuesday's match

We need to drop him down the order order

Open with Brown and Seifert - from our 6 matches he's been out in the middle within the first two overs more often than not, so let's have him out there before we lose a wicket

Rooster was coming in at 3/4 last year - we need to go back to him coming in down the order as he's just not handling the new ball

Seriously, just declare right now. It'd be less embarrassing than what we're dishing up, and it would be over quicker.

With any luck we'll get the number 1 draft pick again who subsequently refuses to show up.

He’s there to go nuts during the power play but at some stage you just have to put your cue in the rack and change your tactics

big call for someone that averages sub 30 in every format domestically.

Did you see him in the NZ test series? He has both composure and potential, people raving about Konstas, this kid will be better.

Totally

Can see with our recruitment and a batting order of Brown, JFM, Seifert, Bethell & Evans, that we want to be going hard from the start and the idea that if one man falls the next one takes his place

The problem is that we're rarely actually getting off to good starts, often losing a wicket in the first and/or second over which is then putting pressure on our middle order

I don't think we really appreciate how solid Shaun Marsh at the top was for us over recent seasons - he may not have gone at 200 RR in the power play, instead was more often than not sub 100 over his first 10/15 balls, but he knew how to set up an innings and once he reached double figures was damn hard to get out... Then the acceleration would also come

Would love to see someone with a similar temperament to anchor the innings as we really are missing that sort of solid player to build around

Hurst has been terrible but considering their relative expectations JFM has been the most disappointing player of the tournament
