Gee thats a long tail for the Renegades? Isn’t kellapotha a number 11? Thats so dire for his side if he’s coming in at 7

It comes as no surprise but Aaron Finch will retire from professional cricket at the end of the Renegades BBL campaign. What a career he's has in white ball cricket and he's top man too. A career in the commentary box awaits where his astute insights will be welcome.

I can see him also moving into coaching at some stage also

He has a first class century, to go with two 50s - he doesn't seem to have batted as often in the shorter formats so harder to get a read on his form in limited overs

Average Powerplay score in the first 4 overs at the Docklands Stadium from 23 games is 27.00 runs batting 1st.

Do the Renegades come out like a house on fire today? Probably need a good start against a Hobart team getting a bit of momentum as the season has gone on.

No Wade today too.

Wow Tim David with a wicket maiden 1st over.

Who would have thought that?
It is against us

We're pretty shit to start our batting innings - I'm curious how often we've lost a wicket in the first over this season, or one of the openers being out for a duck

We really should open with JFM - at least that way he's in without the loss of an early wicket
