Spot on and when he did play and was playing well they didn’t pick him. I remember a few seasons ago maxi had a 200 and 100 before the first test and they didn’t pick him when there was a spot available. It was a while ago and I can’t remember who got the spot. Probably someone from NSW or WA.

Would have been 2017 after returning from India and his only test ton and dropped on return and scored 278 in November. in a shield game I think at the MCG.
