Why do the Reneagdes rarely use the opening 4 over powerplay?

In hilarious fashion, of course the first boundary comes up on the first ball of the 5th over.

We play one of two ways

Either try to hit every ball for 6, playing all out attack

Or play ultra conservatively, but that then brings wickets when trying to chase things

This BBL has really showcased the inflexibility of a lot of our batters.

Nearly every game the ball does a heap in the first ten then does very little in the back 10 and teams have put a lot of runs on in the back 10 even after losing a lot of wickets in first 10.

Teams are still going super hard in the first 10 and losing a ton of wickets though which limits their ability to make the most of the conditions in the back 10.
