Bell - Assistant Eagle Coach?

This quote interested me:

"It is very hard to measure, but our chairman said it … that we had to put our cultural change and off-field attitude as a number one priority over and above how we were going to go winning games," Worsfold said.

What kind of pathetic excuse is that? "Oh, we couldn't win any more because we had to teach our players how to behave themselves instead."

What are they? A bunch of ******ed f**king monkeys who can't walk and chew gum at the same time?

Looks like you accidentally put a question mark on the end of your post there Esti. Better get on to that before someone sees.

ahh I know I'm in enemy territory but I took that as a Coach who felt he didn't have the full attention of his players because they were spending too much time being told they better not stuff up off the field.

Woosha is guy who puts footy first, for better or worse if you like but it's what got him as far as it has. I know might you hate the guy and the club but it can't have been easy getting the place back together and running well after everything that happened in 2007. It was a pretty rough year for the club...

on topic - Surely Bell isn't interested in coaching? I've always thought he wanted to do real journalism or even enter politics. I don't think you have much to worry about here, Woosh is just stating the obvious, any club would love to have Bell around.

that is a nothing story.all those quotes are from worsfold's weekly segment on 6pr. he was asked if he would consider bell and naturally he said yes

That's what the new chairman said at the start of the year esti, which i thought was odd and part of the reason why they might also look to trade kerr at the end of this season.

SM

Not sure if he wants to pursue coaching atm. Labour Party has apparently been into his ear for quite some time and politics might be the path he will choose. Particularly considering he's got a law degree.
