have heard from a good source, that they are offering big money to a couple of young blokes. only problem is, the young blokes are still under contract at their club. getting desperate to get anyone.

Dont be too concerned bout Modda. I have people on the inside and have had very good reports about some awesome recruits. They had 55 players on there first training night, the most they have ever had. They really have lost no-one apart from Oliver. Hovey 2 grand sign on, and $ 550-00 a game, not too bad for someone who has a constant groin injury. Hermans 2 grand sign on and $ 600.00 a game. Not worth a knob of goat shit. Sweeny $ 400.00 a game, and the best player of all oliver $ 250-00 a game. What a load of crap. Lorne are trying to buy another flag.

Hey BJ do you know Mark O'day? Have we recruited a good player at Torquay, will he play ruck then Birdy can play fwd.

Also heard Drysdale will be around the mark as they had 60 at training and have picked up Dan Leigh, Adam Holland and Sean Voss

Lets be honest, dutchy is a good player but, chased a spot at grove,his mate payney didn't even want him, he only loves the money.

Couldn't agree more, is getting on a bit as well which would bring his stocks down too. Don't see why any club would want someone of his character running around in their jumper either...
 
Just read on the GDFL board that Paul 'Froggy' Bregeut is moving to North Geelong... any truth to this?? Would be a massive loss for Grove, kicked around 80 last season and they've already lost Ricardo and Williams to the GFL apparently. It is November but things not looking good for Grove atm...

Mark Oday is a very timid footballer with an awkward run. Bad pick up
 
word is up to 12 senior players left OG so far

numbers were great for drysdale at the first night in, only player from the PREMIERSHIP winning team :D to leave is Daniel Jull (St Marys) whilst Tom Ruggles is expected to spend most of his year with the Falcons

i heard leggett is 100% playing there is very hard at it can play both ends of the ground with me very handy in that league and Sensa seen him play a few times and his a gun was named centre half back in the team of the year this year but not 100% over the line yet
