Was talking to someone who is heavilly involved with Collingwood and has regular discussions with the club the other day and was shocked to hear this come up. His off-field discrestions and his friendship with Tarrant are beleived to be the reasoning behind this rumour, and it is beleived that he will seek a relocation to Perth. I know this is only speculation, but if it was true who would you seek in a trade for Ben?

Ben has had a poor year with his possession rate dropping by around 5 per game but this has been largely due to carrying an injury and playing with it. Trade a bloke because he misses his drinking buddy, I don't think so.

100% agreed and hope that, that is how it is hypothetically though if it where true I'd be happy with shammer and a 3rd rounder in a weak draft

We will just have to wait and see won't we. As I said it's only speculation, but I do know this bloke is very involved with the club.

Delusional on both counts. Fremantle might make such a bad trade (although after last years Tarant trade they may be wary) but there is no possibility of Collingwood getting Seaby for Johnson !

Interesting that Ben would want to move to Perth seeing he played for Preston and barracked for the Pies his whole life. Maybe we should be looking into Tarrants and Ben's friendship a bit more? .... geez I reckon Solly might get a bit narky if Ben's trying to cut his grass.

We need ruckmen, and Sandilands, Cox and Seaby would most likely be out of reach.

Robert Warnock, and a draft pick would be nice IMO. Warnock can play, and Longmuir will return next year and Freo will be able to draft another young ruckman.

Fremantle would obviously be the prefered destination for Johnno, and they have more of a need for him than the Coasters.

Lets not forget, at his best Johnno is a very handy player, but he is one of the players you could look to off-load for a ruckman.

Although I would also be in favour of keeping him.

cannot see this happening, and would am very confident that it wont happen...johnno has pulled his head in since tarrant has left, and last weekends bump was the first time hes been in trouble (if you even include that) for a while.

You obviously mean the draft pick being your 1st for Warnock. The guys is our best rucking option, much better player than Sandi will be. Would cost an arm and a leg to get him away from us. We took him when knowone else wanted him and it looks like a terrific selection so far.
