As long as we have DeGoey, Petracca is not a need. They would be too offensive minded to both work in the same midfield as Naicos as well.

Isaac Cumming is a good one to chase.

I like Peatling from GWS too, might be cheapish.

Wouldn't mind Alex Davies from GC, just think there is something there. Could be the big bodied midfielder to go with Naicos for a decade.

Players like that, youngish age, could be 200 gamers for us.

Yeah, Cumming would be a good one to get.
I think he's UFA too.

Cumming is an interesting one I haven’t seen a lot of. My undertstanding is he’s a pacey rebounding HBF that rotates into the wing? Good disposal etc? If so, would be a smart move to get someone playing the early year Daicos role that made us so threatening in transition.

Rumours Petracca + family not happy with Melbourne response to injury.

Add the club issues in the summer and any sneaky chance Trac could finally come home?
The one I'd like to raid from the Dees is Salem. When's he out of contract - he'd be close to UFA by now, but still with a fair bit of footy in him.

Is he gettable. He's a very good player

UFA and Giants already have Ash and Whitfield. Seem to play him on the wing a lot as they’ve got enough running rebounders with good disposal. A little down the pecking order at the Giants but would slot into most teams back 6. If we could get a pick for JFN and bring him in for free seems like it would be a smart move and a big upgrade.

It's a big yes from me

Likewise - hope we’re in his ear. Apparently a good overhead intercepting game too despite being 188cm.

If he does have scope to play on a wing Sidey’s spot will be up for grabs in the not too distant future too.
Very powerful athlete. Hine would love a player like that

Would happily go after both Cumming and Alex Davies. The latter is just buried beneath all their midfield talent

Would be nice. But given Trac is early on in a long term contract I don’t reckon we have the trade capital for that sort of move.

Waiting for some media stooge to report we are keen on Stengle. Would make sense given our utter refusal to get a kpf. Maybe a small ball forward line of Elliot, Hill, Schultz and Stengle.
There's this guy called Dan McStay who we got who plays CHF which blows the content of your post to smithereens.

Here's one from left field, Jack Graham, he's unrestricted and the Tigers are sh1te so we would be more appealing than where he's at atm. They are losing stars so a possibility.

I haven't taken any notice on his work rate. Can you elaborate on his pros and cons? Does he suit our style?
He's a middle paced (slow) inside mid that they've played as a high forward to compliment Dusty's defensive deficiencies. He's honest, gets his hands on the ball and is team based but he's not as effective as Jared Lyon's from Brisbane and neither of them really suit our style. We need young dynamic mids, not old slow ones. We allowed Adams to leave and he's leaps and bounds ahead of Graham or Lyon's.

LDU it is then and Davies, I hope.

If this is the dream thread then you go get Sheezel from the Kangas.

If he played for a big club, would be recognized as a superstar already.

I think at some point we need to target a young (same age bracket as Nick) quality mid and make a long term monster offer.

The other role player mids are a dime a dozen .

I reckon Salem is the epitome of whats wrong with Melbourne. IMO he's just another Chris Mayne type. One who just chips around to the safest option without doing any real damage. He can certainly find it, and kick it, but his influence on games is negligible IMO
