He's getting paid about as much as you are at Blacks mate. He just lobbed at training one night a few weeks back, played a practice game with us, and has decided to have a kick. Any reason he was not cleared?

Pretty obvious is it not , Blacks are struggling for numbers , he is coming out of thirds footy played a hand full of senior games , so i think Blacks have a right to get a couple of years of senior footy out of some of these kids they put time in to .

How did the X Blacks players go . Did Dawson get a kick or did he run around doing his lollies all day . I see the Legend of Tatong run around in the ones again . Ric just keeps keeping on .

I guess so, but then again if he doesn't want to play there... I see he put in his clearance a second time today.

Pete and Croota each kicked 2 goals and played their role. Matty was a little out of sorts, expect a big one from him this week. Ricci was among the best on ground, 320+ games, true ledgend.

Peter knows why. He only has to come and have a chat with the blacks officials and he's cleared. HE hasnt come.

They should clear him, they've been stuffing round a few blokes who have left this year, petty crap i think. I wish him and tattong all the best, if he can get himself even just half fit he will be hard to stop.
 
Tatong had a good win over Goorambat. Was a great game with some very good ball movement from both sides. Thought Swanpool might have put up a better fight against Longwood. Looks like the top four might be taking shape fairly early. Will be interesting to see how Swanny go over the next 2 weeks

Longwood had a very solid win after only being up by 3 goals at 3 quarter time. Might have kicked 9 in the last quarter? to nothing.

When all inclusions come in and play a few weeks they will be solid. As for poor old Swannie I think they may be the team to miss. Have alot of young fellas running around so may take a couple of years.

How many blokes are on the payrole at the Tong,was told by B Anderson he had been offered membership,club gear,rent paid and play money as well,if so you can see why footy is in such a bad state,no wonder he left Violet Town without playing a game after being cleared by Benalla earlier in the year. Sometimes its not all about the $$$ but showing a bit of character which the bloke lacks alot of,l hope he shows alot more balls on the footy field than he does applying for a clearance,text messages are not the way you go about asking for a clearance but the club gave it to himanyway in fact were prepared to give him 2 incase he lost the first one:D :D :D :D :D :D
If true and only came from Ando himself,l would have thought that they could have spent their money better than that,but everyone knows he has a habit of telling a few porkys in his time,,,,:thumbsu:
 
Hey Jax appreciate ur point of view. Ando at this stage has been worth his payments. A fair proportion of what u said seems to be correct but I have a different take on a couple of points. When u recruit I thought u picked players that will fill holes where u have been previously defficient and Ando has done this so far.

Has to be a different Ando as the one l know only digs holes for himself,couldnt see him filling one in for someone else for too long.
How often does he train as we copped every excuse in the book and then some as why he couldnt be there,thats the Ando at VT that we all know.
Anyway cheers to Tatong and good luck for the year,it would be good to see someone different win the flag this year:thumbsu: :thumbsu:

Agree with you Jax on Ando, also promised Blacks he would play there, even shook hands with president, promises alot a very low human being.
 
it seems to me that VT and Blacks need to recruit some closers for when it comes to recruiting, I see blokes bagging this ando, but at the same time they were chasing him, so he must be able to do something on the field............

Didnt chase him at all o Wise ol owl,he approached us at sharpys 21st and said he wanted to play,as we do with everyone that shows interest in playing we made a time and date to sign in which he did.After he was cleared to Tatong he went to a practice match at all blacks who we played and yelled abuse over the fence at all our players,Ando thought he was so good in front of all his mates that day but when the game finished and we went and stretched down as a group near him and his mates, he took off with his head down like the coward that he is.

Have not heard too many good things said about him and no wonder as he is nothing but coc khead

Agree wholeheartedly with you Jax, I know Blacks didn't chase him either he turned up at one of their do's & told all & sundry he was going to play.
