Thoughts on Lanfrachi to Strath now it’s confirmed? I’m glad to see him stay in Bendigo League we need quality people to stay in the league
Watched him against strath at the end of the year and he definitely didn’t disappoint, will be interesting to see how he fits in at strath

Should fit in well. If Ernst isn’t coming back then they replace him with Lanfranchi. And you’d think Schischka gets back Forward that means Jones goes back as well

Schiscka back forward with Jedd Brereton as another tall target. Jones back to half back but as we know can swing forward if needed.

Lafranchi should relish have others around him to carry some of the load. Good on him for wanting to stay in the league

I forgot about Brereton. Strath should be bloody good next year

who have they lost? Word up my way is that Geary is going to be announced coach somewhere soon. Will take a few?

Gisborne hasn’t lost anyone from my source. They will surely reload for a massive flag tilt

Shannon is linked to a coaching job every season. If he does go I don’t think he’d take any.

Strath have re sigend all of their top liners

That’s good for their coach. few knocker’s out there on him from what I heard
What’s the knock on him? From what I’ve seen (only a couple of games) he speaks well, looks like the group play for him and did a great job reaching a preliminary after losing some very good players. Didn’t seem to be out of his depth coaching major league from the outside!

Good points but the way I see it..the BFNL is no longer a major league. It's slipped dramatically.

Not sure specifically but we’re rumblings. I think you could say the same about every team and coach though hard to keep everyone happy.

Never met him personally but results are the results. Kudos to him

Yep well done, strath would be one of the better coaching roles in country footy and I think the thought externally was strath could attract anyone. Results speak for themselves though

Not sure ladder positions were a reliable indicator last season.

All thing being equal at the end of the year I’d have had Strath 5th.

Thought our boys were clearly a top five team, just took until the second half of the year to get winning under a new system after being in a position to win and dropping three or four in the first half of the season.

Beat Strath and Eaglehawk second time around and pushed Sandhurst and Gisborne as hard as anyone across both games. Getting pantsed by Square with a few out or unfit and getting South in round two cost them finals.

I know it’s Uncles and Aunties stuff but I don’t think it’s a biased take to say come season end we were somewhere around third or fourth best side in it.

This is hilarious

The square game was disappointing. I agree took a while for the team to gell together, with so many guys having not played together much. I reckon with the outs from other sides, they are a lock for top 3 this year.

I’d agree, the issue is bridging the chasm between 3-6 or maybe 7 now with South, and the top two. As it stands now we are nowhere near that.

We’ve added size which was a desperate need but have also lost this years ruck/chb Lloyd Butcher who was a good honest type so that’s a blow.

I was hoping they might have picked up a few from Harcourt and the other district clubs but that doesn’t seem to have happened. I have heard there’s more names to come so hoping they will be good quality additions.
