He was a long way off it in the grand final. Kelly Lang and Hunter far betterI watched him in the Grand Final and he was in Kerangs best 3 players and from all reports was better in the previous final.
They won't be playing a 14 game season. No idea how they do it but teams will have to play a couple of opposition sides 3 times won't they? This is a very interesting point Crazy, what changes will an eight team comp bring?
I can’t see the hub giving up revenue so they will want the final five, will we see another salary cap increase by stealth though by keeping the same amount for two less games? My bet is yes.
You blokes are so pessimistic. They won't be playing a 14 game season. No idea how they do it but teams will have to play a couple of opposition sides 3 times won't they?
You wouldn’t think so. They will probably make it a top 8 instead.Surely you can’t play a final 5 in an 8 team competition.

"Recent changes to the structure of the Bendigo Football Netball League have prompted a lengthy review of operations and following an extensive consultation process with member clubs and external organisations the board is excited by the bright future of the premier league in Central Victoria.
This is a wonderful opportunity to highlight the depth of the Bendigo league and competitive nature of the eight member clubs. Accordingly it is with great pleasure that the Bendigo Football Netball League is delighted to announce that season 2025 will be conducted over 21 rounds allowing each club to play their opposition in three games during the home and away season. The fixture will be reversed in 2026 so that each club plays three times at home and three times away over a two year period against each opposition club.
The league will maintain a final five as the evenness of the competition demands that clubs play finals when they have earned the right.
This is an exciting time for football in the region as the premier league consolidates its position as a country football leader. Ongoing discussions will continue with interested parties regarding their future admission to the league if deemed mutually beneficial.
All correspondence can be submitted through the usual channels."

As long as the paperwork says they are under the cap they will be right. Just like most other clubs across the state.Gunna be ironic when the club is audited.
You reckon the hub staff won’t be looking at the club that their loudest critics is from?

Player gets a job with sponsors, incorrectly delivered jetskis, getting paid to play cricket and footy ... easily done nowadays.
As long as you don't have any of these in your financials
Apparently some even get houses built.
If the auditors can’t track that down I reckon anything less than handing each player a big sack with a $ on it as they receive their premiership medals is pretty safe.
Easter is late next year. What in gods name are the staff at the hub going to do when they can’t have Easter weekend off ? I’m thinking a Bye will be called
