Feel for Westy on this one, must be bloody depressing doing his job.

I’m sure he would have loved nothing more than to put together an in depth look at the financial state of the hub, and instead finds himself doing yet another puff piece blowing smoke up Sandhurst (I guess Adam Burns didn’t answer his phone).

Next week will probably be compiling a top 25 left handed BDCA batsman who drove utes over the past 25 years.

So Sandhurst’s desire for long term success is news generating? Give me a spell. Surely even you could admit how biased the coverage is?
How about an article or two on how Flat’s going under Downie, or whether Eaglehawk are trying to fly under the radar this year. Maybe even pick up the phone and see how Gisborne’s tracking - and yep I get their off broadway in terms of the papers selling demographics, but surely the Bendigo public would like to hear some news from a perennial contender. I’d even read an article on how Broadford see themselves placed just over 12 months out from their supposed entry - what’s their plan for coaches, players, how they think they’ll deal with all the travel.
But nah, let’s just keep going back to the well on Sandhurst - looking forward to the topic of the next article!!
