Didn't train today but unsure of why.Anyone know? if Dmac is in full-training, or is he still out with a calf injury.

Tony on saintsational has mentioned he's still having issues with the calf. That was a little while ago.Didn't train today but unsure of why.
Seems to have become a reoccurring issue. Hopefully it doesn't wreck another season for him.Tony on saintsational has mentioned he's still having issues with the calf. That was a little while ago.
It's pretty concerning.

Put Coff in the back pocket, Nas at hbf and Wood on the wingOK I know I'm jumping the gun on the FF! Billing came in on pre-season performance and to assist up forward but could easily have brought Stocker for some defensive grunt. Hopefully Coffield is ready to go round 1. Titanic will rule. Sandy team will be exciting to watch too.

SENIORS…. More “I think this’ll be what they go with”, rather than strictly what I’d want to see… then;
B: Wilkie - Cordy - Webster
HB: Sinclair - Howard - Battle
C: Hill - Jones - Wood
HF: Billings - Sharman - Windhager
F: Higgins - Membrey - Owens
Foll: Marshall - Steele - Crouch
Int (from): Wang.-Mil. Ross Butler Gresham Coffield Paton Clark
SANDRINGHAM
(Injuries/listing permitting)
B: Highmore - Van Es - Connolly
HB: xxxxx - Adams - McLennan

HF: Phillipou - Keeler* - Hotton*
F: Peris - Caminiti* - xxxxx
Foll: Heath - Brynes - Bytel
Int (from): Campbell*
You’d hope Sandy would be fairly competitive with the blokes they’d have access to from us.Looks pretty solid. I'm expecting at least one of last year's crop to have second year blues. As training loads increase and fatigue sets in young bodies can start to feel it and slow down. Byrnes, Sharman, Highmore, Bytel, Clark, Connolly, Stocker types are now at that point of being hardened and likely to be fighting for their spots. It feels like completion for spots is hotting up.
I know I’m a broken record,
Like it!!!OK I know I'm jumping the gun on the FF! Billing came in on pre-season performance and to assist up forward but could easily have brought Stocker for some defensive grunt. Hopefully Coffield is ready to go round 1. Titanic will rule. Sandy team will be exciting to watch too.

It's not too tall if Coffield actually starts to back his pace.Another updated
Round 1 team 23
B. Battle Cordy Wilkie
H.B. Coffield Howard Sinclair
C. Hill Jones NWM
H.F. Gresham Owens Wood
F. Butler Membrey Higgins
Foll. Marshall Steele Crouch
I/C. Billings, Bytel, Windhager, Sharman, Byrnes-sub
Yeah, Yeah, the backline is too big!!!
Looked like he had a minor setback about 10 days ago, but was reportedly back in full training today, and has otherwise had a full preseason, to the best of my knowledge.Anyone know where Hunters trsining this preseason and how it’s going for him? Good run of health?
Jones won't play Rd 1 with an achilles according to Dave Misson.Sounds like King, Hayes and Allison are the only ones guaranteed to miss round one while McKenzie and Campbell will probably be too underdone given how much training they've missed.
My guess at rd 1
B: Paton, Howard, Wilkie
HB: Sinclair, Battle, NWM
C: Hill, Steele, Clark
HF: Wood, Membrey, Gresham
F: Higgins, Sharman, Owens
Foll: Marshall, Crouch, Windhager
Int: Billings, Jones, Ross, Webster, Pou (sub)
Emg: Butler, Cordy, Bytel, Coffield
Originally I had Butler in the team but we looked a defender short, so he goes out for Webster, who probably gets a gig ahead of Coffield given he's had an uninterrupted pre season.
Coff is quick, Dmac likely missesHere is is how I feel they will set up.
B: Battle Cordy Wilkie
HB: Sinclair Howard Webster
C: Hill Windhager DMac
HF: Gresh Wood Owens
F: Higgins Membrey Sharman
FOL: Marshall Steele Crouch
Int: Jones Butler Ross Clark
Sub: NWM
Emg: Campbell Stocker Billings Bytel
That was tough. There would be some regular/good names joining Billings at Sandy if King, Hayes and Coffield were all back in full flight. Although I can only see Coff fitting into one of Wilkie or Battles spots unless he does a sinclair on rebound.
