Can he play as a forward target ?
Kicks a few goals for sandy
Only if we take someone better off.
If we aren't happy with Marshall as a forward target, we won't like Campbell there.

I thought the same until all the news re 5 man bench came out. Think we will see a lot of clubs play 2 ruckman.Marshall normally gets 80-90% TOG.
Is Campbell really going to play 10-20%?
8-16 minutes of footy?
They’re just going back to a normal sub instead of a medical sub. No change to the numbers on the interchange.I thought the same until all the news re 5 man bench came out. Think we will see a lot of clubs play 2 ruckman.
No doubt if Roma is fit the club could back him in as the lone main man but if he goes down we will be stuck with a Sharman/Battle/Howard in the ruck (assuming Hayes is no good for round 1, Keeler + Moose aren’t picked). Will be very interesting to see what we do against Darcy/Jackson.
greetings, how is Gresham's recovery going?
Do you expect him to play rd 1?Slowly. Not training with the main group yet.
Do you expect him to play rd 1?
Sorry to intrude on your board, obviously interested to see what you guys will look like round 1.Someone usually well informed told me today that Coffield has tweaked his hammy which is slowing down the ACL rehab. Hopefully it doesn't impact his long term timeline.
Last we heard from the club, he is on track too.Do you expect him to play rd 1?
I like most of your points but doubt Howard, Cordy or Battle move forward..likely go with a mobile forward setup using Sharman, Membrey, Wood, Owens & Phillipou rotating.Early pre Xmas 22, assuming only Hayes and King aren’t fit by round 1:
B: Wilkie, Howard, Paton
HB: Clark, Battle, Jones
C: Hill, Crouch, Wood
HF: Higgins, Sharman, Windhager
F: Butler, Membrey, Gresham
R: Marshall, Steele, Sinclair
Int: Ross, Dmac, Billings, Campbell
Ressies:
- Sincs into the guts, Jones HB to provide some speed. Really wanted to find a way to get Leo Connelly into the side as I love his run and carry.
- Wood to keep his spot on the wing, one of our best in the back end of 22.
- Gresh/Windy/Steele to rotate between on ball and FWD.
- With King out I’d love for us to back in Sharman rather than move one of Howard/Battle/Cordy forward. Collingwood have done well with Mihocek as their main man, no reason Sharman, Membrey or even Owens can’t step up.
- TC to give Roma a chop out until Hayes is ready to return.
B: Highmore, Van Es, Webster
HB: Connolly, Cordy, Coffield
C: NVM, Stocker*, Byrnes
HF: Stack*, Allison, Phillipou
F: Peris, Keeler, Hotton
R: Heath, Bytel, Owens
Int: McLennan, Adams
No doubt forgetting people.
Best case scenario would probably have him missing the first month. When will King be back?
Thanks ilikepotatoesSorry to intrude on your board, obviously interested to see what you guys will look like round 1.
But unless it's a severe hamstring it shouldn't a hell of a lot. It's really common as for the most part it's a hamstring graft that is used to reconstruct the tendon.
16 - 20 weeks which makes it anywhere from round 5 onwards I think Mr MysteryGuestWhen will King be back?
For clarity our board is having a drafting game and Mysteryguest not so subtly asked your board16 - 20 weeks which makes it anywhere from round 5 onwards I think Mr MysteryGuest

This is funnier now lolWhen will King be back?
OkThis is funnier now lol
Wouldn’t mind Steele, Windhager and Sinclair as preferred on ball starters!!I don't think where mids are named is really reflective of their status in the team. They move on and off the bench, to the wing, the flanks etc so often that it doesn't really matter.
Swap him out for Windhager and it's still the same team and premise.
Crouch has been a great pick up IMO. Wins his own footy, links up well, lays tackles, sets up and kicks goals. Deserves first crack inside to help free Steele up to play more forward.
Where the real change in the comp needs to happen is naming the ruck in the centre to show the true spine of a team.
FB: Paton - Cordy - Wilkie
HB: Battle - Howard - Sinclair
C: Hill - Marshall - McKenzie
HF: Billings - King - Gresham
FF: Butler - Membrey - Higgins
*OB: Steele - Crouch - Windhager
*OB = On Ball
