Okay, for f**k's sake, I nominate Don Scott, father of Doug, in the ruck
Michael Tuck, father of Shane and Travis, for ruck rover
Leigh Matthews daughters didn't play many games, but why should that rule him out?

Greatest father/son following division ever: Scott, Tuck , Matthews

Where to put Jono Brown and his dad???
Do Shane and Michael Tuck make it in???

If Travis Cloke comes on then put D.Cloke ruck and T.Cloke the other pocket.

Heath/Rhyce and Ray Shaw are nothing to be sneezed at either.

Rhyce is a dud, Heath is good but still only had one good season.

I have put Travis and David Cloke in the side.

You're a joker, HBF619.

Hawthorn's Kennedys and Geelong's Turners are better than the Tigers' Raineses.
Andrew Raines looked pretty good in 2006. He might make the grade and play 100 games.
Next you'll be pushing up Jim and Andrew Krakouer...

Geoff was an absolute superstar, Andrew will play alot more than 100 games.

Remove the Clokes, Tucks and Browns and it wouldn't be so funny.

Shane T and Travis C have played.... how many games again?

Jono Brown's old man played 49. Legend!!
Who would you put in the Ruck then???

Shane has played very well in the last two years and his dad is a legend, Micheal has his own medal and I dont see the Kennedy's or Turners with any medal to their name.

I think for a combo Geelong's Turners are almost impossible to beat. Alternate wings on Geelong's Team of the Century. They were both equally talented (from what I've heard)

It will end up as the Ablett's though, because Gary Snr is the best ever and Junior looks like he'll play 250 games (only injury will stop 300)

David Darcy was a pretty good full back when (without wanting to put too fine a point on it) Footscray's full back usually had a pretty busy afternoon.

His boy Luke can play a bit.

a) Geoff wasn't an absolute superstar. He was a gun. I called him a champion a few posts back, but that was being generous.
He was a champ for a few seasons around 79-82

b) Andrew Raines is 21, not 18. In 2006, he finally earned a regular game and showed a few tricks.
Let's see how he goes this year before we build him up too much.

The Turners were waaaaay better - best and fairest winners, captains, Big V regulars, 200 gamers, Geelong's Team Of The Century.
I saw a bit of Mick Turner and he was all class, not too dissimilar to G Raines in ability.

Alright then I will put Raineses on the bench and Turners on the wings, there is some potential based picks too, Ablett JR. is in their and he has shown about as much as Shane or Andrew.

Not bad, but you have the Barassis the wrong way around. The son is one of the game's all time legends and MUST be the ruck rover. The dad was before my time and quite frankly i am not too sure how good he was. Bryan Cousins only played 50 odd games I think, so I doubt if he would get a game ahead of Wayne Richardson (father of Mark) who captained Collingwood for quite few of his 274 or so games.

Yeah but this is Father/Son's in the same team, if you know what I am saying.

There needs to be the Father in there as well as the Son.

potential based picks... Ablett jr is in there

Ablett jr is already a star. He's potentially great.
He's a marked man, who can turn a game. He's clearly Geelong's best footballer.
How about his finals in 2004? Awesome.

Please don't compare potentially good sons like Andrew Raines, or potentially great sons like Marc Murphy to Gary Ablett jr.

Would you agree with Joel and Michael Bowden being in the side then???

Instead of the Tucks that is.

Put your team up then Chewbaca.
