Aker forgot all about him sublime skills
Never saw Jarman, someone describe to me what has him held so far ahead by posters of every other nomination who in their own right were superb (Buckley, Cameron)

I was over Buckley when he done his dog act of wiping blood on Cameron Ling so didn't take much notice of him after that but always thought he was great with penetration and not as accurate as the ones I mentioned ....IMO.

He just never seemed to miss. He had amazing vision and had the foot skills to basically hit anyone anywhere. Probably not as long a kick as Buckley, but was just outstandingm and on both feet too.
Dunstall rated him the best passer of the ball he played with.
Simon Black for sure. Could change his mind last second and cut the ball across his body 40m to a free player inside 50.

For a KPP Chris Grant was a superb field kick with either foot. His stab passes were Barry Price like.

While I love Trent Mckenzies boot as it is so deadly it is nowhere nearly as accurate as some of the other names mentioned. He can be a very inaccurate short kick.

Was thinking the same. Definitely the best short pass going round but not the best kick overall.

Chris Grant is such an underrated footballer, like he's rated, but was an absolute superstar at both ends.
I really hope that Hurley can become somewhat Grant-esque

Beat me to it !!! His stab kick and drop punt passes to McKenna were nearly unstoppable. As for distance, his team mate Colin Tully was one of the best I have ever seen, especially for his size, he was an enormous kick.
Neville Fields famous for being was swapped for the Danihers was a very pretty kick.
Jarman was clearly the best.
One from left field who is forgotten for his foot skills is Diesel Williams. His vision was incredible which made them look even better but you still still need the foot skills to hit those targets.
