With ballas most likely to not be offered a contract extension past this year, what is the best game the little nuisance has given the fremantle football club?

Thought his QF in 2015 against Sydney was handy. 6 against Richmond at the MCG in 2014, his 2nd half vs Port in Rd 23, 2014 was also wonderful and much needed - to win us a top 4 spot.

He also kicked 6 against wce early days, but that was when both teams were first ordinary.

Here’s one - can anyone think of a better game played by Dan Bandy than Rd 3 1996 vs Carlton at Subi.

Bandy seemed to always start the seasons off well. He was pretty good 96/97 then proceeded to dye his hair and lose form....or as wirrapunda would say Loose form.

Vaguely remember they tried playing Bandy at centre half back for a stint in 2000. I think Drum was trying to get Bandy to play a similar attacking role to the one Paul Roos had played when Drum was ass. coach at Sydney. More experimental coaching than anything, but there was a Monday night game against Collingwood where Bandy's opponent might have been Chris Tarrant who allowed Bandy to keep running off and creating forward even kicked a goal. I don't know how it compares to Carlton game because I can't remember that one at all - but it was probably the best game in that attacking/defensive role.

In that same game against Collingwood (Round 8, 2000), Shane Parker had the role of restricting Nathan Buckley - which he did quite effectively. Maybe not Parker's stand out game, but one of the more unusual ones he played.

What about Des Headland?

Had a blinder against Collingwood when he kicked 6 goals. I think Pav and McPharlin kicked 5 each as well.

Des dominated that game. Smacked em by 100+.

Derby 2, 2007 — Josh Carr kicks 3 and wins the Roscoe. But more memorably, takes down Cousins, irons out Kerr on the boundary line and gives the crowd the death stare on the way through. Watching 40,000 Eagles supporters lose their sh*t still makes me feel gooey inside.
