AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
In terms of streaks the longest and most dominant as a virtually continuous streak was probably Sir Rob Harvey.
Check this out for getting an absolute mountain of ball at top level as a streak.

Thats all u need to do to get 2 brownlows ..easy
What a hack!!! 1 disposal!!!
Criteria: at least 10 consecutive games by the player
I would say if would have to be Kouta's streak in 2000
In that year he had a 10 game consecutive streak when he averaged
18.7 kicks
16 handballs
34.7 disposals
8.5 marks
2.9 goals
1.3 behinds
2.1 tackles
1.7 hitouts
1.8 frees for
1 free against
1.9 bronwlow votes a game
and in that time picked up 19 brownlow votes for an average of 1.9 brownlow votes a game
Only JUST gets trumped.Gary Ablett 1993 season 124 goals in 17 games at avg 7.3 goals a game
He is a supertsra one of the best players ever, even?
i recall nathan brown ripping it up for the tigers on the field and in the brownlow votes the year he did his leg, would have been a certainty for the brownlow had that not happened
only find streaks in his shorts these days!
Des Headland had a phenomenal hot streak towards the end of 2002. I don't think he would have averaged many disposals, but his effect on the game was huge.
Just about the best player in the comp for that 8 or 9 weeks and he picked up about 15 Brownlow votes.
What the hell has happened to him?
Only JUST gets trumped.
Tony Lockett 1991...127 for the 17 straight games he played that season at 7.5 per game. 127 goals 51 behinds to be exact.
Great effort by Plugger but Bob Pratt kicked 127 goals in the first 15 games of 1934.
Kouta was a far better player than Woey but Kouta didnt have a consistant season which cost him the medal.Kouta played his best footy in the 2nd half of the 2000 season and wasnt as good early on where as Woey was pretty consistant right throughout the season and was a worthy winner.I think people get caught up with the fact Woey was pretty ordinary after his Brownlow win and faded away badly thus giving people the impression he was an ordinary Brownlow winnerthe most disspointing thing about kouta's run was that he wasnt rewarded with a charlie.
how pretty boy woewoden won it is an absoloute joke.
