Correct, and you still won’t be moving forward is my understanding. You will have to specifically self-exclude with the national register being set up. Even then you will be able to take yourself off it after a 90 day cool down period.

I’d say issues around data privacy is why self-excluding needs to be done at each individual bookmaker, along with a lack of willingness from the industry.

So if you're not yet a client, how on Earth would they email you or text you? They can only do this is you're an existing client otherwise they wouldn't have access to your contact details.

I am in an eligible state and did not get offered anything. It must relate to info they have on you via connections with other corps. Some of those on the Betmakers list have provided me sign up deposit bonuses so it's not the whole platform sharing information,

My best guess is it’s the difference between those who handle trading in house but use betmakers platform vs those who let betmakers handle everything in general.

Bet Nation is run by the same people as Bet Deluxe, so anyone limited/promo banned with them I’m guessing will get nothing from Bet Nation.

Depends on ownership, Neds and Ladbrokes do because Lads owns Neds for example. If BetDeluxe owns these guys they can use their client list

Essentially limiting anyone who is not a complete mug. Frustrating when a bunch of their promos are on the main race meetings of the day so you inadvertently use them anyway.
